Mana'ia Anakele Tala tuu in Samoan means stories told from one generation to the next. Is Tala tuku the same thing? There are so many similarities between Futuna and Samoan. Is their a connection between our people?
V Kirisome Malo, in reply to your questions: TALA TUKU means the same thing, stories told from generations to the next. Their are stories from each village in Futuna. Our language is similar to yours, and our story told about Samoan Kings who came in Futuna in the 14th century and establishing their reign that’s why we shared similars things.
Always proud of our story because this is part of us, this is our Identity! Be proud of becoming from the Pacific.
If anyone want a summary of what is saying in this video, feel free to ask, I’d be happy to reply. Malo
