Beware of Micmonster. Don't trust them with your card information. I paid the one time fee to use their services and discovered they still charged me quarterly. I disputed the charges on top of the one time charge and currently they are blocking me from using their text-to-speech even though I paid a lot to use it.

This video is has some solid info, and you can definitely sense the AI touch, probably ChatGPT, in the mix. Anyway, even with AI making your script, there is still a lot of work to be done in order to make it a watchable video.

I've been using text to speech for my reports for school so I don't have to spend hours recording and writing material. If done right no one notices the difference. Easy A. You have to be careful and rewrite the generated texts into your own words. That seems to throw off the program.
"Try for free" is not even close to "gratis," let alone "free forever" ;-) I can't find any good AI voice program to generate free audiobooks for the blind, except the old Microsoft TTS, which we all know as Hawking's voice. As legendary as it is, some of the words it generates are unintelligible, not to say 50% annoynigly monotonous. Again, we wait, and wait, and wait... for something truly free and gratis and user-friendly (with mp3 download) to come on the World Wild Web for the blind folks!
As of now, there isn't any TTS software that sounds ultra realistic and free at the same time. Previously Descript was the closest thing I could recommend. But it's paid now.

descript is not free to download your own voice, in free version the audio spells some words randomly "jibber & jabber"
It used to be free. Now, they have put a limitation on the free version. In fact, this video was made using descript's free AI voice.

Your channel can get monetized with an AI voice, if you are making valuable content and follow TH-cam guidelines. When you are using CapCut's free tts just give them credit in your video description. They will be happy as you are basically promoting CapCut. If you still have doubts, you can still talk to them in the mail.

But if you use the commercial voices, you need to contact the developers of the voice and purchase the license for commercial use/audio broadcast. The audio distribution license will allow you to use speech in TH-cam videos.
