Aww I went to Amsterdam probably a year and a half ago to visit one of my friends who went to uni there and absoulutely loved it! Her friends and her lucked out in getting us like reallyyyy good ballet tickets for super cheap (was some system glitch for only students or something). Anyway that was probably my fav part, like my gosh soooo good! If you get a chance to see the ballet in any of the places you're going to, definitely worth the splurge. Plus really loved cycling around the city on my last two days. In the beginning of my week though, was scared for my life cuz the cyclists there are the most rowdy aggressive people I've met. Anyhow hope you had a lovely time and looking forward to more vlogs!
Not much to see in Amsterdam? You must be kidding! Amsterdam has the highest per capita museum density with the Rijksmuseum, Van Gogh museum, Stedelijk, NEMO science museum, Shipping museum, cat museum, museum about microscopic living things, Jewish museum, Tulip Museum, movie museum, Rembrandt house, canal house museum, foto museum and so on. There is a zoo, food hallen, restaurants in ship yards, on bridges, on an old offshore facility and the list goes on. There are several beaches you can visit in the city, beautiful churches, the Royal palace on dam square. There are many markets for shopping. All kinds of neighborhoods with their own charm and architecture. There are several parks like the vondel park. You can go to several lookouts over the city, see comedy shows, theater in English and musicals. There are many night life options, including jazz, techno and pop. So many other options but I have to stop somewhere.
