The crazy part is that deleting the footage did not mean it was gone. Data is recoverable unless its written over specifically.

    • @celem1000
      @celem1000 12 วันที่ผ่านมา

Just to play the other side here for fairness. The sorta cctv a bar has generally records to a disk. The data is only held for a certain period of time, once the disk fills the oldest data is overwritten. So law enforcement has a time window in which to request footage of a specific point in time, after which it is very much destructively deleted, it's how the system is designed. They ain't holding all the footage they ever took, that just can't work.
Source: installed these things for a living, systems we sold could hold about 4 weeks if the cams were on 12hrs a day after which day 1 goes bye bye. I can't speak to how long a period this system in Austin might have been able to hold, varies wildly based on budget and the quality you want on the recording.
I still think the APD are being incompetent here, pulling the wrong day is a mistake they shouldn't make, but that data could absolutely be irretrievable. It's not a deleted memory address, the bytes have been overwritten, gone. It was Tyler that said 'deleted', and he's not a hardware tech so I'm not sure he would know the difference

I used to work as a teller at a bank here in Texas. One day one of our customers damaged another customer’s car and drove off. The other customer didn’t realize his car was damaged at first but came back and asked for footage. We had cameras inside and out and the footage but my manager lied to him and said we didn’t have anything. It was so messed up and I felt bad for him. Just wanted to share that companies will lie or hide the truth rather than doing the right thing.

It is not one killer, it is a network of people. The police department and the business owners of the local bars and restaurants involved in the cases need to be investigated by the FBI. The victims wrongly deemed suicidal and responsible for their own deaths deserve justice for them and their families.

It reminds me of the way the UK police cover up the grooming gangs because of the optics and not wanting to make the politicians in charge upset by revealing what they've done.
If the APD is aware that this is a foreign cartel operating in the US, they would likely try to hide it to not make the democrats open border policies look even worse. Especially in Austin, which leans far, far left.
These kinds of stories are actually very common in central America... often with another element involved... Scopolomine.

I live in Austin and was drugged at a downtown bar. I only had 3 drinks over the course of probably 4 hours. After arriving at home around 11pm, sounds started to echo and I got very sweaty and nauseous. About 15 minutes after symptoms started to set in, I started vomiting and ended up being paralyzed from the neck down on my bathroom floor. I vomited for nearly 2 hours. I remember everything but couldn’t do anything to fight through the paralysis. I do think there is somebody out there looking to harm/rob people. I believe that in my case, I was drugged so I could later be robbed. Luckily my girlfriend was able to take care of me but please be careful when in downtown Austin. This kind of stuff really does happen! I feel so sorry for all of the lives that have been lost from similar situations.

I quit after i took a non emergency 911 call from a guy who couldn't get through to 911 emergency so he called us n we were on hold with 911 for 24 min. His dad had broken into him n his moms house n shot her n her friend in the kitchen n he was hiding in the bathroom with me on the phone. The last thing i heard was omg please hurry he's coming n then i heard gunshots n the phone hung up. It was devastating. I couldn't work for the city of Austin anymore after that. Theres a serial killer or someone is drugging these people. With head trauma, and some with roofies in their system? Why would the police not want to address this? While I visited Manchester a couple months back, I was told multiple stories involving a potential serial killer named the “Manchester Pusher”, who’s been in and around the canal area. Just like lady bird lake, there are no lights or cameras and all the victims suspiciously drowned after a night of drinking, the exact same way these poor individuals have been found in Texas. Majority have also been found to be young men as well. Hearing the British man towards the end of the video adds to the irony of how similar these two cases are…
    Stay safe guys!

Tyler, there is an EDM venue near me called the “Brooklyn Mirage” at Avant Gardener.
This past year , just like this video , there has been 3 “ coincidental” drownings, all men of 27 years old.
The community has confirmed there is a sinister killer, waiting for intoxicated people when they leave. The first murder you can see video of a person sprinting away from someone. City has denied this, but it is quite obvious.
On top of that , the area itself at night (I can speak to it) looks like a scene out of a horror movie. No cell reception. It is scary . I still go because I love the music , but it’s something we all fear to be honest . I think it could make for a good video .

That story was told completely wrong. The guy who killed himself in container bar was an FBI agent who was Supervisory Special Agent in the FBI’s Complex Financial Crimes Unit.
He managed the FBI’s financial crimes program for the Northeast region, and was a detailee from the FBI to the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC).
Before working at FBI Headquarters, SSA Cincinelli led financial crime investigations in the FBI’s flagship New York Field Office. SSA Cincinelli conducted investigations involving market manipulation, corporate & accounting fraud, Ponzi schemes, money laundering, insider trading, and antitrust violations, among others. He was also in charge of a financial investigation into the Clinton Foundation. Zero connection to APD or these deaths whatsoever.
