The #1 rushing offense ran the ball 6 times against a team that struggled against buffalo’s run game a week prior… Ran the ball 6 times against the chiefs who were never ahead more than 10 points… sickening. And people (boneheads) blamed Lamar for that loss. I think six was also the number of times Gus carried the football when Ingram was visibly hurt in a playoff game. Also, Zay's taunting penalty was a horrible mistake and probably cost them a touchdown on the drive.
@ we didn’t have Ingram. 6 was the number of times they ran it with a RB not Gus… Gus had like 2-3 carries.. his first carry went for like 10+ and a first down and they didn’t go to him again until around halftime. Can’t show me a game in the last 3 seasons where we played at our best and lost… and that sounds like an excuse but that’s what I truly believe
All of the QBs mentioned had solid running backs not running by committee. Lamar Jackson's ranked 6th in rushing in the playoffs because of that. No QB can rush for that many yards and win because teams knew passing was second. Lamar Jackson also never had a #1 Pro Bowl WR Zay Flowers this year. Now, with Derrick Henry and better WRs, the Ravens offense is more diverse.
For four years, the Ravens asked Lamar to be the leading rusher, with bottom 5 WR groups, in the worst passing scheme in football (Roman). That was never going to work. This is the first year he doesn't have to be the leading rusher and the scheme is at least decent. Zay will be missed, but both TEs are healthy (Another first).
Romans offense was not the worse. Otherwise how did Lamar get an MvP and how did ravens set records for most rushing yards while getting to playoffs? Two of those seasons Lamar was “hurt”
@@romeou4965Lamar is about to have 2 since Greg Roman, he obviously had nothing to do with him being mvp. Let’s see if Roman can do the same thing with Justin Herbert

I'm a Bengals fan and I think this is the year Baltimore gets to a Superbowl with Lamar. I think they're the best team in the AFC at present moment. They've already beaten Buffalo and were a play away from beating KC, plus playing in the AFC's best division each year means they're battle tested. They were not a play away from beating Kansas City. They trailed that entire game and were seven points down. They either would have had to have gone for two or won in overtime. They are not winning in Arrowhead.
I think they have a good chance too, and I honestly think it's going to be hard for Buffalo to get through them. That being said, I think people are underestimating the Bills vs the Ravens based on the game they played earlier in the season. That was game 4, before the Bills new, young roster had had much time to really gel. I think they've done that at this point. King Henry went for 199 yds that day, the most yards of his season. He COULD do that again, but it's far from guaranteed that he'll have a game of that insane caliber in Buffalo. Josh had also recently broken his hand, they were missing quite a few key players, and they didn't have Amari yet (he hasn't had huge numbers, but he has really opened things up for the Bills, and he's a real team player). Plus, this game will be at home for Buffalo, where they're undefeated. I STILL think I'd give Baltimore the edge, even as a Buffalo fan. But people will be overlooking a lot of things that have changed since that game if they're expecting a similar result. I think it's going to be a much more competitive game, but we'll see. Both teams have to get through the wildcard round first🙃

Reason why i'm not concerned is because Lamar is due to experience sooner or later it will click in the playoffs for him just based off experience. He's going to win the superbowl
What’s annoying is that people just look at his record and box scores but don’t look at the tape to see how the team as a whole did not perform in the playofd

Lamar is on another level right now. Henry/Lamar combo is absolutely INSANE as well. Week 1 until now is a COMPLETELY different team. Shifting Hamilton around alone has made their defense top tier. Everything is just clicking with this team. As far as the Ravens are concerned, they are 1-0. I know the hate Lamar has for his past playoff appearances and while it holds some weight, it doesn't define who they are right NOW. If Ravens decimate the Steelers on Saturday, this could be their year...
there was a ton of talk about Manning choking in the playoffs and how he will never get past Brady. It only stopped the year he beat Brady in the AFC champ game and won that super bowl
one of lamar's losses in the playoffs was as a rookie and played less than half the season but it's always included when you talk about his playoff record. Stroud though? well he was a rookie.
@@awill3454 Did you watch that play??? It was an INT in the END-ZONE! The defender had to deke out the entire Ravens offense to make it a "pick six". That is usually an INT touch-back play. The concussion was after 2 horrible snaps by Lamar's center. Josh Allen had ONLY 10 points in that game at the time. Not much better. STOP reading stats and watch the games.
People don’t understand that in playoffs they are playing only the top teams. Most QBs who have been to playoffs are either 1-1 or 0-1. And the majority of those who played qb have never been to play offs. Lamar is not the worst qb ever.
AFC West Mahomes faces 1. Raiders 2. Chargers 3. Denver That’s 6 wins guaranteed for Mahome Josh Allen in his division 1. Jets 2. Dolphins 3. Patriots Lamar Bengals Steelers Browns Mahome does what he needs to do and won 3 super bowls taking advantage of his week division Allen didn’t Lamar has the hardest division and usually the toughest schedule. Lamar made the playoffs and had to face who? Allen made the playoffs and face what top 5 qb? He only faced two and loss 3 times to Mahomes and Lamar lost to Mahomes and got a concussion in the 3 quarter in the Bills game. Lamar went to the playoffs in his first season and was still a rookie Holding this over this mans head is crazy.
LJ has only played two wildcard games in his career (had a BYE twice) and he’s 1-1 in those and having a receiver like Hollywood Brown at the time made a difference for the one they won. A supporting cast around Lamar, even just a superstar running back to which he can hand the ball off, should make the difference for Baltimore.
The past two losses have not been on Lamar. Ravens win the AFC Championship if they run the ball more than 6 times the entire game, and Flowers doesn't fumble and taunt.
I think it’s in the leagues best interest that Lamar wins a Super Bowl sooner rather than later, Lamar year over year has tightened up his weaknesses and has improved drastically every single year he hasn’t won a Super Bowl. Im sure the fact that he hasn’t won is a reason that he has systematically buttoned up every weakness that he seems to discover after every season. Eventually if he keeps it up he will be unstoppable, and for the next 10 years no one else will have a chance.
The Ravens needs to win this game vs the Steelers. They can’t beat themselves up with the penalties and don’t run the ball 6 times like they did last season vs the chiefs at the AFC Championship.
Lamar’s last playoff loss before last year was the 2020 season, a game where the ravens were down by 1 TD till Lamar threw a pick 6 in the endzone that the defender ran back 100 yards. He then went out with a concussion with an entire quarter left to play
stats dont tell the full story. go back and look at those games, there were a lot of dropped passes, a lot of bad scheming, and there are some times he was at fault but a lot of the time in those playoff games it wasnt him. he had to carry his team's deficiencies in those games
Hey Chris when will John Harbaugh share some of this Lamar blame? The media is using a record when he was 21-23 yrs old. Not making an excuse for him but he was just a young raw qb who people said should be a wr. John Harbaugh was on his way to getting fired before Lamar showed up. I just don't understand how Harbaugh is never mentioned with these failures.
Love Lamar, he does need to win it all but mind you people wanted him to switch positions when first came out. Teams during his contract negation said they didn’t want him and the ravens bargained with him until he finally got what he deserved.
People keep talking about Lamar in the playoffs, but won't discuss him having to be the leading passer and rusher, how his defense does not play great, receivers/TE's don't play well, etc. And last year, against the Chiefs, Zay Flowers fumbled at the 1 yard line... and what would that score have been had he not? It's a team game, ESPECIALLY in the playoffs.
Buffalo and Baltimore would make a very interesting championship game! One would finally get over the hump and the other would still be known for not winning the big game!
People have a hard time understanding this point, Lamar Jackson's whole story is a nobody believes in me story. Therefore, it's only fitting that people DON'T BELIEVE he can do it what it matters most. For all of those people, it's only going to make his breakthrough that much sweeter. They're going to make a movie about this one day. "Lamar Jackson - A running back story" It's a true American story 💯
It never ceases to amaze me how in every conversation about lamar (even the “positive” ones) the people talking are either just flat out wrong or leave out crucial context. Every qb Rich named in his opening played in the league for more than 7 seasons. Not a fair comparison at all. Payton Manning had a losing record in play offs for years. he had 4 tds in the game against Houston. 2 rushing, 2 passing. Sure he didnt throw for a ton yards, but he didnt have to. Stop with the bs.
Every #3 seed and lower has a commentator somewhere saying not enough people are talking about them. Any one of those teams lose, no one's coming back to say "Yeah, I guess the right number of people were talking about them."
Last year was the first year he had a TRUE offense and got to the AFC Championship. Offense is even better with Henry this year. All the postseason blame can’t be placed on Lamar when he was throwing to Mark Andrews and McDonald’s employees for the better part of his career.
I think this highlights the offensive little Mars never had any help because he never had a number one receiver and obviously he had to leave the team in rushing. It's unreal how well he's done considering the offense is always been just him.
Amazing how post-season performance is used as measure for a regular-season award. Josh Allen isn't even in the same sphere as LJ based on REGULAR SEASON PERFORMANCE
His coordinator has to do much better in the playoffs as well though, as do his receivers. They’ve constantly let him down with the play calling time and time again.
@@bryancole5695 and his other wins are against 40 year old Philip Rivers, Mac Jones, Skylar Thompson and Mason Rudolph yet no one says a damn thing! The narratives are wild!

Let's not get it twisted, Derrick Henry isn't going to win the game FOR the Ravens but finally Lamar is in the playoffs and he doesn't have to do it all himself, that's the difference.
It's all about whether you can beat Kansas City. Gotta beat the champs to be the champs. I know the Ravens can do it, but I'm not betting against Mahomes until I see that they actually can do it.
It’s no different in the NFL as it is in the MLB NBA regular season superstars are awesome. They’re great but we judge everybody by championship. There are tons of guys in these leads that are awesome during the regular season but when it comes to the playoffs and you give a coaching staff full week or two weeks to prepare for you, and they already kind of know you anyways, it makes the game much more cerebral and I’m not saying Lamar Jackson isn’t smart at all. I’m just saying that it puts more pressure on a quarterback to do the right read in the last couple years. He’s been trying to stay in the pocket and not run as much. So this doesn’t seem like that much of a stretch they easily could win can they easily could lose, but I don’t think necessarily it has everything to do with Lamar.
He’s gonna go into conservative ball run and short pass mode when it gets hairy, so when they lose he doesnt look like he threw a bunch of picks, and they blame his supporting cast
We have to remember he was 21-24 years old during a chunk of those play offs with not a lot of help and still won an MVP

What’s annoying is that people just look at his record and box scores but don’t look at the tape to see how the team as a whole did not perform in the playofd
@@TA804 I also find it funny how they go “oh well his 2 playoff wins are against Tannehill and rookie CJ Stroud.” Meanwhile Allen has beaten 40 year old Philip Rivers, Mac Jones, Skylar Thompson, and Mason Rudolph yet no one says a damn thing
Remember the way we talked about Peyton in 2006?
Eerily similar for sure lol
Peyton Manning is only 14 and 13 in the playoffs and never faced the type of criticism that Lamar does
He should have. You are right.
Yes he did, we all talked about how he didnt show up in the playoffs. Where were you in prison when this happened?
there was a ton of talk about Manning choking in the playoffs and how he will never get past Brady. It only stopped the year he beat Brady in the AFC champ game and won that super bowl
one of lamar's losses in the playoffs was as a rookie and played less than half the season but it's always included when you talk about his playoff record. Stroud though? well he was a rookie.
lamar left with a concussion in another playoff game 😂
He left with a concussion after throwing a pick 6 and it was towards the end f the game when he was playing terribly
AFC West Mahomes faces
1. Raiders
2. Chargers
3. Denver
That’s 6 wins guaranteed for Mahome
Josh Allen in his division
1. Jets
2. Dolphins
3. Patriots
Lamar
Bengals
Steelers
Browns
Mahome does what he needs to do and won 3 super bowls taking advantage of his week division
Allen didn’t
Lamar has the hardest division and usually the toughest schedule.
Lamar made the playoffs and had to face who?
Allen made the playoffs and face what top 5 qb? He only faced two and loss 3 times to Mahomes and Lamar lost to Mahomes and got a concussion in the 3 quarter in the Bills game.
Lamar went to the playoffs in his first season and was still a rookie
Holding this over this mans head is crazy.
If Lamar wins the SB this year he’s arguably a first ballot HOF pick
Nope
LJ has only played two wildcard games in his career (had a BYE twice) and he’s 1-1 in those and having a receiver like Hollywood Brown at the time made a difference for the one they won.
A supporting cast around Lamar, even just a superstar running back to which he can hand the ball off, should make the difference for Baltimore.
The past two losses have not been on Lamar. Ravens win the AFC Championship if they run the ball more than 6 times the entire game, and Flowers doesn't fumble and taunt.
My brother is a ravens fan I hope they win it all for his sake
Payton Manning didn't get his ring first he got his MVP first do your research
Mr Lamar Jackson is best running an throwing quarterback to ever lived future Goat..
Peyton started the same damn way! Lamar is still in his career... he's only 27 years old.
“Lamar’s ganna step on his Jackson”😂😂😂😂. I don’t know why this statement has me in tears lol
Lamar stepping on his Jackson got me 😂
The Ravens needs to win this game vs the Steelers.
I agree with you Rich if he can get past the chiefs the Ravens will win the super bowl
Do Allen's playoff record next....
I think the overall play design and blocking has helped derrick henry play so well, as opposed to derrick being this life-changing running back.
Why do they constantly attack this Man??
I don't know, please tell me
hes horrible in the playoffs lol it is what it is
@@lihclore lazy take that Rich literally just debunked in this video
Hey Chris when will John Harbaugh share some of this Lamar blame? The media is using a record when he was 21-23 yrs old. Not making an excuse for him but he was just a young raw qb who people said should be a wr. John Harbaugh was on his way to getting fired before Lamar showed up. I just don't understand how Harbaugh is never mentioned with these failures.
Peyton was horrible to start his playoff career he actually had Time to improve his record wow imagine that
Peyton manning started off 2-4
Love Lamar, he does need to win it all but mind you people wanted him to switch positions when first came out. Teams during his contract negation said they didn’t want him and the ravens bargained with him until he finally got what he deserved.
I wonder if he did switch positions if he would be the best at wr or rb
Rich you also forgot to add that each QB was 28 years old when winning the Super Bowl guess who is 28 now
And ravens scored 34pts in both superbowls
They actually won the superbowl titles in 2001 & 2013.
Not only the 12 years but each QB was 28 years old. LJ just turned 28. hmmmmm 🤔
Die hard(dead lol), life-long season ticket holding Titans fan here, and I find myself pulling for the Ravens. Someone kill me😂 LFG 22!
When you fall behind early you have to change your game plan. Have to try to score quickly to catch up.
I got money that the Ravens will play the Lions in Super Bowl.
It will be the chargers and ravens in the afc championship game watch
Every #3 seed and lower has a commentator somewhere saying not enough people are talking about them. Any one of those teams lose, no one's coming back to say "Yeah, I guess the right number of people were talking about them."
Last year was the first year he had a TRUE offense and got to the AFC Championship. Offense is even better with Henry this year.
All the postseason blame can’t be placed on Lamar when he was throwing to Mark Andrews and McDonald’s employees for the better part of his career.
Chiefs fan here, stop it everyone been talking about the Ravens
Havent you had enough talk about your team in the past few years? Its about building the drama.
They're tired of the t swift chiefs. Everyone wants you to lose my guy.
Yeah talking about ravens to lose.
@@TulaneAve lol no I haven’t had enough
I think this highlights the offensive little Mars never had any help because he never had a number one receiver and obviously he had to leave the team in rushing. It's unreal how well he's done considering the offense is always been just him.
Amazing how post-season performance is used as measure for a regular-season award. Josh Allen isn't even in the same sphere as LJ based on REGULAR SEASON PERFORMANCE
Last year the offense struggled vs KC and Zay made a costly mistake.
Peyton Manning didn't win a SB until after he got 3MVPs!!!!!!
His team is much better, but the issue has always been he personally falls off. Those Ravens teams were good in the regular season.
Comparing Lamar to 5 other RETIRED QBs is crazy. Peyton was just as bad in the playoffs before he got his first chip. Lamar just turned 28
His coordinator has to do much better in the playoffs as well though, as do his receivers. They’ve constantly let him down with the play calling time and time again.
Ravens fan here. We aren’t showing the Lions enough respect. They concern me more than Kansas.
** Kansas City
Detroit Lions has a reckless head coach. He will blow it in the playoffs.
I’m fear rams more who have experience making it to February
@@ameera82790 nope, now I'll refer to them as Kan
@@BootCampBrandon lol
Josh Allen has beat Lamar Allen through 3 quarters. He’s literally 0-5 against all division winners in the playoffs
Wrong
@ facts! His one divisional round win was against the ravens who didn’t win the division that year
Rich, they have 12 wins. 12-5. 13-4 last year.
Ravens v. Lions SBLIX
Funny thing is Josh Allen ain’t beat nobody in the playoffs either. He beat Lamar but Lamar left the game with a concussion 🤷🏾♂️
@@bryancole5695 and his other wins are against 40 year old Philip Rivers, Mac Jones, Skylar Thompson and Mason Rudolph yet no one says a damn thing! The narratives are wild!
@ exactly 😂 he gets so much playoff praise because he ALMOST beat Mahomes 3 years ago in the divisional round 😂 like I wish they put that to rest already 😐
One he left with a concussion. Coaching was terrible. This is a different Lamar.
Idk what it is… Pittsburgh about to win this game Saturday..
You're right about one thing... you don't know what it is 😂
@@emuccinoProves my point casual
Ravens please don't let the Steelers pull of the upset
Let's not get it twisted, Derrick Henry isn't going to win the game FOR the Ravens but finally Lamar is in the playoffs and he doesn't have to do it all himself, that's the difference.
Ravens are winning the SB. Been saying it since before the season. It’s Lamar’s time.
Prediction: Ravens vs Bucs (or Lions)
It's all about whether you can beat Kansas City. Gotta beat the champs to be the champs. I know the Ravens can do it, but I'm not betting against Mahomes until I see that they actually can do it.
Ravens gotta get thru my Steelers first! (Please just let me cope 😢)
Don’t talk about us… it’s honestly fine 💜💜
But what about the coaching? The coaches made bad calls in those playoff games.
12 wins Rich
He has only been in the NFL for seven years and is only 28 years old!
2-4 playoff record is not good.
I will say, he is playing the best I have ever seen him this year.
True but LJ8 still has time on his side! Remember other QBs that took awhile, Mannjng for instance!
Gee I wonder where we could find a similar precedent, any of these NFL - wired experts wanna check Peyton Manning's stats from 1999 - 2005?
He’s gonna go into conservative ball run and short pass mode when it gets hairy, so when they lose he doesnt look like he threw a bunch of picks, and they blame his supporting cast
