Thank you for the comment Jason, it was a great trip, if I forget about the guy doing that overtake! Could have ruined the trip quite seriously 🥴. Paul 👍
Just found time to watch this; episode 2 this weekend. Very enjoyable. I found the captions really useful 👌 The overtake was a bit err close. I see Michael was by the kerb line, protecting his new(ish) battery no doubt 🤔 😉
Thanks for commenting RDC. Useful to hear about the subtitles; overtake was sketchy and no idea why he did it there, after following us for some period previously; Michael wasn’t going to put his new battery in any danger, you’re right🤣
I watched it last night Paul. That close pass was a fright! All looks good to me it's nuce to see the interaction between the group. Captions are ok I have no strong feeling either way.
Lovely part of the world - went back in 05 and again 06, over the Fussen Pass, down to Innsbruck. Visited Hohen Werfen 'castle' (Where Eagles Dare' fame). Good to see you having a great time Paul.
Great video Paul, thanks for sharing. Shame about the weather. I met Philip TA and Tony H on the Eifel trip and they were saying how awful it was on some days! BTW, why do you use a waterproof jkt over your Rukka? Surely, it's laminated?
Thank you for commenting. I use the waterproof for extra warmth and extra visibility in crap weather, that’s all. My Rukka is a few years old now but never leaked on me, when used without a waterproof overlay…so far!
How are you getting on with your new Tiger ? You made a good choice with the colour 👍 hopefully Triumph will come out with some better colour options 🤔
Generally loving the bike...but not the clattery engine, prefer gearing and smoothness of previous model...but the overtaking grunt is very impressive!
Another great video Paul, I can relate to the Garmin XT Tracks and Routes. I've spent hours playing with the different file types from my Route App but settled on 1.1. route, POI.gpx. Captions are good, took me a few minutes to learn I could not turn them off ;)! That was close @ 31:30, what a wally driver!
Hi. You are saying about converting the track to a trip and having a solid line with no shaping points or way points. I believe it depends how you save the route in MRA. I do not use the new version because this happens. I use the old version I believe its 1.1 poi, track and route and have no problem. Just a thought great video by the way.
On your myroute app do you save your routes as .gpx 1.0 1.1 or 1.2 ? I always save as .gpx 1.0 & works perfectly in my nav6 & friends older Zumo 390's 😁
I save routes from MyRoute desktop as 1.1 gpx files Mark. I think I’m right in remembering that you cannot save Text Reminders in Shaping Points, for coffee stops etc, that will display on a Zumo XT…if using 1.0.

Thank you for the feedback Ralph, I appreciate your time to do that. I hope all is well with you. P.
Great video many thanks for sharing Paul
Will have to learn the difference between shaping points and waypoints I’ve only ever used waypoints 😂
I’ll provide tuition next time you buy me a coffee🤣
Awesome quality as usual. I came back from france on Saturday. Had 12 days of sun, up to 33°C. Back in the rain in Blighty
Thank you David…are subtitles a good thing or a bad thing?
@@YarroMoto I like them 👍

Yes, I did wonder if subtitles would annoy but something even I struggle to hear what I’m saying on film! Thanks for the feedback 👍

I also save my gpx files as 1.1, so not sure what you are saying Ian?
@@YarroMoto Ah apologies I misunderstood.
Hope you are enjoying the new bike ? 😁😁
I am, although I prefer the smooth, Gen3 engine.👍
I preferred the sound of the old Explorer!
Agreed Sir.

Why did you put an oversuit on when you have a Rukka on ? 😁
Visibility and extra warmth Mark.
@@YarroMoto I see That was one of the reasons I went for a Rukka suit, save faffing about when the rain starts 😁
l am finding the subtitles very useful as my Mrs prattles on behind me 😂😂😂
Glad you like them!
Got my glass of milk and my choccy, first one in....
