I think I've seen these designs somewhere on tumblr before and I thought they were the coolest! I'm more of a MLP fan than Spyro but I love how you designed the Mane 6(+Spike), glad to see them on youtube plus the addition of elaboration on how you went about designing them is really neato

Fluttershy being fear is _such_ a fun concept. I could 100% see it being a story concept where she doesn’t like using her own element, lending to her shyness further.

I love the concept of Twilight being the chosen purple dragon and her friends being with her to help her achieve this destiny. 😂 it’s perfect! Almost writes itself.
Also it makes sense Pinkie pie is a fire dragon cause how else is she gonna bake all them sweets at sugar cube corner then literally being an oven herself LOL

I adore how flutter why looks, the softer turns in her horns compared to the others makes her taller technically but still makes her figure alot softer. And the cute butterfly! Adorbs

There was an episode of MLP: FiM where after Twilight Sparkle transformed herself and her friends back into ponies after being temporary Breezies, Rainbow Dash asked Twilight if she could transform them into dragons and Twilight just said, "not a chance." So, seeing these, kinda makes me believe that in a way Rainbow Dash got her wish, lol

I don’t know anything about Spyro but I love how he’s supposed to be the SUPER ULTRA RARE CHOSEN ONLY PURPLE dragon and cinder is literally purple😂
She's only purple in that screenshot and it's because of the lighting. She's black in every game. They probably changed it in Skylanders because "dark characters aren't marketable to children" or something (literally ads a dark element later. Character development?), similar to what happened with Princess Luna (although Lauren got around it somehow like a girlboss)

A love this and your style. It's fun to hear where people get their styles from. I grew up playing the original Spyro trilogy, so my baby dragons are typically styled like the original spyro and the babies from the third game.

This is awesome! If they were dragons, I don't think I would have ever moved on from my MLP phase as someone that also grew up on Spyro. The Legend of Spyro trilogy though? Please tell me you played the first trilogy too, they're such good games even if they're a lot goofier, I personally did not care much for the reboot.

These were absolutely beautiful and PERFECT to see!! If you’ve ever played Pokémon before, you should try turning the Mane 6 into pocket monsters! Give them fitting types too, like psychic type for Twilight, electric/flying type for Rainbow dash, grass/rock type for Apple Jack, etc. etc. and you can change these types in however way you want to give them either advantages in the competitive scene or to just make them fit better with other types. Either way, love the work you put into this!! Can’t wait to see more! Subbed!

every time i see an animation like this, i imagine it as a show or game. imagine if spyro or twilight got their hands on a time machine, and time traveled to the era of the other purple dragon to prevent a magical apocalypse in a 2 player game.
It would kinda make sense that fluttershy would be a feer dragon not just because of the "glare" but it could also be a bit of a reference to flutterbat, plus the Idea of an adorable fear dragon learning to not be afraid of (almost) everything around them is just to fun of an idea to ignore 🥺😁😅

But I love these designs! I grew up with Spyro, both the og and tLoS (and Skylanders, although I consider it to be it's own franchise) and I loved them all! I also loved MLP as little kid, and although I grew out of it, recently I have been getting back into it!

Also, I've been wondering, do you vary the line weight with your art, cause that has been the hardest thing for me to adjust to with digital and i still can't figure out if it'll look good since it looks kinda inconsistent.
Thank you! And I do vary line weight, there are a lot of different approaches to it but I personally use different pen pressures and think about where I want the visual “weight” of the drawing to be and add the heavier lines there. Hope that is helpful!
