the game can be pretty dense for newcomers, so many options, so much to learn, not much direction in-game, but the community online is great.. Having a blast playing scout in a light, mech, tagging up big boys so my team can missile hose them and generally harassing anyone I can. Need to get that MEEP MEEP roadrunner warhorn
@@heavyhebrew I been playing the game since it's alpha, but recently my team loses 95% of the games and the games turn into 12-2 stomps almost every single game now days. It's just not fun anymore, but damn do I still love it, I just love mechwarrior I just can't play this anymore... :/
@@kevinp7056 pretty much yes. I can play 20 games in a day and maybe win once. I was about 500 wins ahead of my losses, but in the last few months my losses are about to overtake my wins.
I'm having great success with a Kintaro GB using 4xThunder5's and 3xLPPC. The velocity quirk makes the thunderbolts work quite well, and the light Peeps bust ECM. It doesn't jump, tho, but velocity is the most important consideration for missiles!
I slapped two Thunderbolt 20s and two Thunderbolt 5s on the BLR-1S and it absolutely punishes lights and mediums. Fleas and locusts can dodge under the missile arc at
Love the build and the daily dose in general. I would have to cut that Thunderbolt 10 to a 5 just because the asymmetry bothers me. LOL, the build could stand to have 1 more ton of ammo too.
BAP yeah for the combo of ECM piercing and boosted sensor range, but I dunno about the ASP tonnage commitment since all it does for you is stack sensor range (which, yes, indirectly speeds up lockon time) and it's more tonnage than the BAP to boot.
the zues has some amazing quirks for missiles. what about a tunderbolt 4 with some snub nose ppcs and er med laserts on a ZEU-9S(P) or ZEU-6S? chg the ferro for endo steel and light engine at arunf=d 60 kphish?
Thunderbolts 5 and 10 aim for CT. I do not think the Thunderbold 15 does that. So 3 TB5 fire not only faster than one TB15, they also do better quality damage.
Could I suggest a build if it hasn't been done already? As there were a lot of opportunities to use a medium mech with the events this weekend, I bought a new Griffin. The 5M. I put 4LAC5s on the arm and nothing else. I think it could maybe benefit from some more ammo. Because the damage potential is around 1040 I think if I remember correctly. I was using an LFE245 with one DHS and the rest ammo plus 3 jets. Might be worth trying a ln XL engine instead to add ammo.
Yeah I run the TBT-7M with a 15 and a 10, Light Engine 270 or 75 i think, one less JJ, its a decent build that I have had allot of fun with, I actually own that Shadow Hawk as I am kind of a mech collecting ho....(0.o) I will have to try out that build, the XL engine always makes me worry though.
I quit playing this game a few weeks back due to frustration, but I still very much enjoy watching Baradul having fun with it.

i've got a Kintaro Golden Boy setup with the same weapons, you get a bit less cooldown but in exchange you get bonus range/velocity/heat
kto-18 with 5 tbolt5 is also good.

He found out about the BUILD i was keeping to myself. lol thunderbolts are perfect for it cause that drawback means almost nothing.

I've used bolts on the scattershot and with the jumpjets it's pretty good
advanced computer + bap best things you can slot when using tbolts. its almost an instant lock on. game changer and worth the 2 slots and 2.5 tons.

The Scattershot is available for MC now, which PGI gives out heaps of with their events, and it's only a medium, so it won't cost that much MC.
They only recently been giving out heaps but yes the flow of mc is in fact quite constant
It feels like they have been giving out a good amount for years now.
