I love the two of you talking, diving deep into your fears (weaknesses), with us (let alone all the preparing and discussing late at night you did over the pillows). :) What I'm taking away here is that a lot of people seem to have a lot of fears, and that's what rules them. The biggest problems seem to be our fears about the other person's fears... True, we need to know and be sensitive to the other person's fears/weaknesses. But the point is we need, each of us, deal with our own fears (esp. not ignore them, hide from them, etc.). Hopefully the person we're with is doing the same. Rob and Chrissy, you did a whole lotta work on yourselves before you met and *after* you met, getting your thoughts and fears squared away. Trust in that. I honor you for that most of all. You're both VERY thoughtful people and heart-stable... Trust in that too. The scariest thing in our relationships is dealing with someone who doesn't know themselves all that well. (Regardless of age.) They don't know enough to be making promises about their future, how they'll act under pressure. You two are solid, if you can get out of the way of your fears, like a bullfighter dodges the bull. Much love and respect to you both.

If a man doesn’t look at women walking by out in public there’s something wrong with him.
Who you go home with is all that matters. There’s also a difference between gawking at a woman and glancing.

      @@FlyMeToThePhilippines I also agree (and I'm 82).
Rob, if you will allow me the freedom to Comment my thoughts about Chrissy:
As I watch Chrissy's reactions to your comments and questions, I see at first "eye candy." Seriously, she's the kind of woman that I am attracted to. Now, I'm also attracted to buxom women, as well (EXTREMELY). And I really like blondes, too.
Now, there's much more in my reactions than the above.
She REALLY appeals to my intellect. She's intelligent, astute, articulate (English for her is a bit of a foreign language), and very sensitive emotionally.
What a package! She's exactly the type of woman I want as a life partner and lover.
As to the concept that women are Works Of Art, that men should admire, I greatly admire women on what I just admitted, plus the whole idea that women create new life with childbirth. That alone is a stunner.
I'd say that due to our early sparse chances to survive, men chose women for their childbearing abilities as well as their catching the eyes of a future father to their future children. It's developed as a mutual symbiotic relationship.
      Hallelujah!

Rob, stay there in the Philippines. Im 67, my wife is 35 and our son is 7. We live a normal lifestyle and marriage in Pasig. I don’t notice any issues because of our age difference. When we are living in New Hampshire we get a lot of looks and muffled comments when we are out in public. We both feel uncomfortable at times. The only benefit to me is now my wife doesn’t have such looks of jealousy. We are moving back to the Philippines as soon as our assets here are liquidated. We love your stories.

In life, nothing is ever guaranteed. If you find someone who loves you for who you are, then you are the luckiest man in the world. Even if it's short-lived, it's better to have tried than not tried at all. Sitting at home criticizing people who put themselves out there seeking love, is nore pathetic to me. Loneliness really sucks, especially when you are older. Finding love with someone younger will always make you feel younger and happier. Good luck Rob and Chrissy. Normally I don’t push back when I receive feedback - this video subject was specifically the result of a survey viewers wanted to hear Chrissy describe dating a man in his sixties. I am dating a single Filipina in Manila and she has 2 children aged 10 and 13. The problem at the onset is when I fly 7k miles to visit I want to spend time with my girlfriend but I have to contend with the kids. They do not have family near by so the visit has to be planned to keep the kids occupied. If you want a younger girl, mine is 35 and I’m 64, then they either have kids or want kids. It’s hard to find one that doesn’t have or want kids.

Thanks for another great video, I love you guys. I can relate in many ways, and I think that people should just live and let live, and do what they think is right. A lot of it is in the attitude.... a positive attitude goes a long way. Rob, we're too old to have young kids, all we really want to do is enjoy life, and be happy. And, yes, age is just a number. We can't conform to society all the time. We just have to remember, as people who have much higher living standards, that many of these Filipinos have almost nothing. Many of them are literally sleeping on floors with nothing but thin foam for comfort, and eating rice for every meal. Despite that, they're happy and generous, even if they have little to offer. So, why wouldn't we, as people who have so much more, not want to help them when we're able to? I think it's terribly selfish not to help. Thank you for the content, it's always thoughtful and well presented!

A lot of good questions and answers Chrisy answers were so clear and articulate. And you bat those questioins off so efficiently. I feel compelled to offer what you call the "religious" perspective. As a man of faith, (I do not say religion because religion is how the secular world understands people of faith but it fails to diffierentiate other problems such as hypocratic beleifs which are so prevalent), faith is a personal relationship with the living G-d and that in it self orders things toward righteousness and completely mitigates insecurity of age and all other things. "surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life..." Age is irrelevant. Age happened as a result of sin. If born again, in the life to come those elect we will be ageless in their new glorified body which is not an old one. I say that with confidence it is the spoken Word of G-d. Regarless of how old we are we are all eternal beings. The securlar world cannot overcome age because it has no confidence in it's future because they do not have a living relationship with G-d and are blind to these truths. In the Bible no man marries an old woman because marriage is for family and child raising. Regardless of what age a man is the instruction from the Bible does not change. Obviously there is much more to say about the purpose of marriage... but i focused on age insecurity here.

I think the "news" thing is cultural as much as age related. I get the idea that most, (not all) Filipinos have been to raised to conform, go along, not question, etc. etc. which rules out analysis, argumentation, and debate.
Much of the news deals with society, how we view society, and what changes need to be made for the betterment of society. Politics; which is how policy is decided and implemented that governs all of our society and life from using a no.2 pencil or black ink, to dealing with corruption that spends society's money (taxes) on personal projects instead of infrastructure and healthcare.
Foreigners are cautioned to not "speak their mind" or be "confrontational" because that isn't the way things are done in the Philippines.
That is my opinion. But I'm sure that is just one facet.
    Love your videos guys!

I try to watch every video? Chrissy said divorced? Did she get married? How did she get divorced in the PH? My Filipina was very young with her first time at 15 with a 20 year old BF. I’m happy to pick up a package deal and hopefully add to the package for my dream if I can.
Online dating is less than 15% legit. In my experience. It takes a lot of filtering and some luck. 🍀 🍀

I loved seeing this video. It shows me that my way of thinking about this type of relationship will work great if your partner has similar thoughts and feelings. I am really impressed. My only bad thought on this is what happens to the young woman when you die from old age? Her life, her life's expectations have been changed and are now shattered?! Do you have insurance that is left to her to help her continue the lifestyle you two have created?

According to the PSA (Philippine Statistics Authority) they say that 1100 young girls & women are giving birth to a child EVERY DAY who have been abandoned by their boy friend! So, Chrissy situation is Very Common. Young, rural Filipinos, if without a college degree will probably be a farmer or a fisherman, and with those wages, it is difficult for them to support a family! So, if their girl friend tells him that she is pregnant, many will run away! If you are looking for a young Filipina, if you see a pregnant girl who is by her self, walk up to her and ask her if she was been abandoned by your boy friend? You may find a beautiful & sweet girl who is now starving, if she has no family and would welcome your help. This is just another way to meet a Filipina who may make you a wonderful wife and you will also get to be a daddy for her child!

The funny opening was a great intro to this subject. I found it super-relevant, as some of this runs through my mind. I'm 76 and will be meeting women in their late 30s and early 40s... maybe one who's 55. This gave me some ideas on an effective mental approach to meeting one-on-one and going forward with the BINGO woman!
I'm glad you covered whether Chrissie wants to have a child with you. It would be a wonderful genetic mix! As to whether she's "the best actress" or real, my feeling is, "If you can't tell, it doesn't matter!"
    Thanks!
PS You are a very attractive couple. If I saw you at the mall, I'd stare too, but with a smile.
PPS I like shorts if well produced and not too-loud audio, esp. the music. I watch your and other longer-form videos, even the Pea, at 1.5x. Maybe it's my short attention span, I go 1.5x AND skip forward during the Regular Guy.

Age gap is not an issue in Philippines as long as both are legal to get marry. Also, Filipino family values is strong. And it breaks our heart if we can't help our family even small things. We love and care our family ❤️ and, we love our partners, husband or wife so genuinely. And it's normal to a Filipina to get jealous specially they are young. Anyway , it's a matter of respect both sides.

    Hi Ron & Chrissy, 👋🏼,
I can see why one/some of your readers feel, you repeat it too much, about your age difference. What they might not understand is, that some of your readers might be watching you, for the first time. So, it’s important to share by your example, that age gap relationships,
    ❤️can work❤️.
Having said that, I have a suggestion for a future topic. Chrissy is the “epitome” of a true, down to earth, good, traditional Filipina woman. She’s the kind of woman, we’d want to bring home, to meet our mother.
Rob, why, oh why, did you limit her to share the “one thing”, that Filipinas value in a man, at the end of this blog??? You guys need to produce a blog, where she shares, the “TOP TEN” things, traditional Filipinas seek in a man. And Rob, let her completely “finish” talking about number 1, before moving to number 2. When she says number 2 ( and only when “she” says number 2 ), we’ll all know, she’s done with number 1.
Do you remember how on a plane, or in a restaurant, everyone stopped and leaned in, when someone said: “Well, E. F. HUTTON SAYS???” Well, Chrissy is “our” E. F. HUTTON, whenever she has “anything” to say. Love you guys, keep em’ coming, 😎😉👍🏼❤️.

I have nothing against single mothers but children will always change the dynamic of a relationship. A good mother will always put her child ( ren ) first and the man who is NOT the father of the child ( ren ) second. This is only a natural state of the human experience. I have kids and they will always be my priority over a new woman albeit my sons are grown men. Unless both parties agree on this then getting married is a precursor for failure. Unrealistic expectations never turn out well.

Everyone has a magnetic energy being broadcast looking for a matching energy. Imagine a radio that has many channels or frequency.
The radio is tuned into a particular signal going out from a radio tower at the same frequency it is tuned in for.
Rob, your mindset determines your frequency and you found a matching energy. The two of you have a common mindset and that makes you a good match.
This doesn't mean you are a perfect match and if you make monogamy work, in time the match wears off. Better is to have an open mind and consider ethical and consensual non-monogamy.
Like that radio, you keep a few channels dialed in and are a much happier and more rounded person having multiple channels you can tune into.
I begin a relationship introducing a Filipina to living an ECNM life that is not limited sexually and with love.

    Hi Ron & Chrissy,
Another great blog, way to go, guys, 😉😎👍🏼❤️!!! I’d like to share 3 points, if I may:
1.) One of your subscribers makes a valid point, to stop pointing out the way you do, about the “large” age gap between you, and Chrissy. I respectfully disagree with him. It’s a known, psychological fact, that if you hear something often enough, you’ll begin to believe it. So I think you need to continue driving home the idea by your actions, and videos, that when a great guy like you, Pete, an amazing woman like Chrissy, Great and beautiful things are going to happen, 😎😉❤️!!!
2.). You made another valid point, that other expats took “years” before they finally found the ❤️right❤️ woman. Possibly, because They
“were” meeting the right woman, just not the right woman, for “him.” Another words, there were both wonderful people, just not the right one, for “each other.” You and Chrissy, are Romeo & Juliet, but with a 💞happy💞 ending.
    And finally:
3.). Another known psychological behavioral fact. Women all over the world, not just Filipino women, have always been, and will always be attracted to older men, because they see us as attractive man with our gray/silver hair, that makes us look distinguished. Secondly, women across the world, not just Filipino women, and here comes the magic words, they are always going to feel “more secure”, with an older man. I have no doubt that when Chrissy reads my comments, she’ll smile, not her head, and agree with me.
Keep up the great work guys, 😎😉🙏🏼👍🏼❤️.
