Your over revving your R6! The R6 makes peak power 14,500 rpm after that the power curve drops. 15,000-15,250 is better shift points. If your shifting at 16,000 your losing up to 10hp. This is what dyno chart shows, for these bikes. Because I was like you, thinking I had to go to 16, but after doing a dyno tune the better shift point is lower

stock dash is showing 500-600 more revs than what it really is. that shiftpoint is fine.

fine is not fast! 10hp on an r6 is almost 10% power loss, especially on the straights where you pick up the most time, when trying to shave time.
