I think the public didn’t even know about this song until now! There are a lot of Koreans who just stream the melon top 100 rather than looking for something new. So if promo is lacking, even a song that has public appeal will go unnoticed...
I think another factor (besides popularity) was that the music video's vibe didn't match the song. I checked it and I was expecting a video at the beach or some sunny place and the girls are vampires or something. No vibrant colors at all despite the melody. Instead you have very dark backgrounds, thunder and so on. They made a new one which matches the song a lot better.

I find the audiences far too subdued and polite, even with fan chants...but you are right, I haven't been to a bts or exo concert. Even the blackpink concert I went to, I was wondering why the audience was so dead.

I have heard about the Brave Girls being an underrated group that got no exposure for a while. Glad that they finally cracked through the public's consciousness and have gained notoriety. I hope this leads to better things and more importantly financial stability. Not taking anything away from their talent but they need to follow this up to keep the momentum going. I have heard about the Brave Girls being an underrated group that got no exposure for a while. Glad that they finally cracked through the public's consciousness and have gained notoriety.
I hope this leads to better things and more importantly financial stability. Not taking anything away from their talent but they need to follow this up to keep the momentum going. Because with internet generated fame, it can come and go quickly.... Hence the phrase "15 minutes of fame".
