I have a huge soft spot for Search for Spock. I think the performances are great. Very layered and subtle. It's a very worthy instalment.

I'm an actor and former broadcaster, and now, an author. I dumped cable TV almost two years ago. It was GREAT to see Patrick and Stephen talking. Patrick takes me back to a time when I really enjoyed watching TV, before every show became an example of idealized social relationships, dictated by pedantic writers. Patrick was blessed to be in a great ensemble cast. I have always hoped there could be a re-boot of JAG, but I also think it could not work today. They would want to put Mac into a jet or some nonsense like that. Maybe it's better to leave that alone.

You sound like someone that's seen TV from both sides of the aisle. I agree with every word you wrote.

Search For Spock was such an underrated film, especially having to follow The Wrath Of Khan.

No offense to the young kids out there, but getting to be in a Trek film in 1983 is like getting an MCU movie in 2015!

He needs to be cast again as either Sarek or Spock's son.

I don't know Paramount really screwed Spock in Discovery and Strange New Worlds. They made Spock act like an idiot which in my opinion is disgusting. Maybe we would be better off not doing anything. Rest in Peace Leonard Nimoy/Mr. Spock.

In the behind the scenes footage included on the ST3 blu ray, he said that he had made Pon Farr with many ladies at ST Conventions. No lie.
