Thanks for the tutorial. I never thought of view lists before, but my project browser is structured right in the template, like existing, demo, new construction etc. I guess either way is fine.

Tip: select multiple views in Project Browser using CTRL/Shift to change multiple View Category or View Subcategory parameters at once.

My company has received a preliminary file from a different architect that has subcategories setup already but there labeling standards are different from ours so we would like to keep the same browser organization that they have provided us with but rename the subcategories. I now how to add new ones and can transfer all the plans one at a time or a few groups but that seems way to tedious especially because the majority of the plans have view templates applied and it kind of complicates it. Please tell me there is a simple way to rename the existing sub categories?

    Let me ask something Sir
So, is the Organizer can updates an element event we made, edit or add something in plans or 3D model?
    Have a good day Sir

    Hi David,
when you finished grouping you had the Family type in front of the view name.
    Example:
    01_WIP>01_PLANS>Floor Plan: Level 0
My question is... Is it possible to take away the "Floor Plan" label? or change it for something else?
    Great tutorial.

This is very useful! Thank you. One question, after I set everything up using your methods, few hours later I forgot to add one more categories and IE:, i set up existing, new construction and but forgot to add Sheets (publish) so I duplicated everything one more time and was about ready to switch those into sheets, but then in the identity data; view sub cat and view cat is greyed out i can't click on it and it's the same idea in the schedules. It's like it got locked some how. I even tried to create a whole new browser and that doesn't work either. Any tips? thanks.

I figured it out. Saw that everything was greyed out - fine, medium, course, wire frame, hidden line etc, sun, shadows - anything related to view details. Turns out that if you apply a view template (in the identity data), everything else will get greyed out. So I deleted it (back to none) and it works. I was able to add more list. Now I can work on the view templates, seems like a really good tool to apply to each views. Thanks for a good video!
