Dimash is best vocalist in the world but I'm not sure about singer because vocal tone also matters in singer
He started at 5 yrs and has been training for 20 years. His form of exercise is swimming. I've seen video of him going the length of a pool under water. He's flawless.
I've seen the same video with Dimash swimming. I just wonder if he is capable of keeping up the strict self-discipline and regime even when he is giving concerts all over the world now.
I saw an interview where he said that he stayed in hotels with pools. They even joked that guests would be surprised to see him there, depending on time of day.

Long notes and runs are cool but they are so much more impressive when they are tastefully selected to present a song. As he has matured artistically, Dimash takes more and more care that his virtuoso flourishes are part of his overall approach to the performance and their impact is therefore so much greater. At this point he is so good and so much better than what you usually encounter that his live performances over-whelming. The richness, resonance and subtlety of his vocals are x10 in person.

Love is like a Dream would be the other one. It's one of the most beautiful ballads ever written and Dimash takes it to a level where nobody should ever try to sing it after him.

Well, with all due respect, Seelia, I wouldn't consider "Autumn Strong"/"Late Autumn" a lullaby. It is a very tragic song. Dimash fretted much before he was able to whip himself to perform it. The lyrics are in Mandarin Chinese, which Dimash didn't speak a word. He had to learn the lyrics from a phonetic transcript within a week. -- The song is originally Japanese and tells the story of a Japanese actor, who used the name Li Xiang Lan in China, where he was loved by the public, lauded and appreciated. He was married to a Chinese man, but when it became disclosed that she is Japanese, she was banished from China.The song is about their farewells. His husband was soon executed for having "fraternised" with the enemy.

Great reactions to the best singer. I've been listening to him everyday, several times a day or all day. Love is a Dream, Samaltau two songs not to be missed. I am going to his first solo concert in New York that is on the 10th of December. I heard him once when he toured with Maestro Igor Krutoy, who has written several pieces for Dimash, he was amazing.

IMHO there is nobody to real compare to Dimash, but there are plenty very interesting and unique voices recently.
The one you already discovered - Marcelito Pomoy in his interpretation of The Prayer.
And I think you definitely should know Angelina Jordan. "prodigy child", barely 13 years old now, but her voice... Oh my gosh... Even I don't like Amy Winehouse (mostly due her unprofessional attitude which finally killed her), I must say her voice was absolutely stunning and Angelina Jordan is like her reincarnation.
So young, but so talented.
But you probably know her already.
Right... so how about Diana Ankudinova? Ever heard about her?
If not, I guarantee you will be shocked. There are few performances, she nailed so amazingly, that I have goosebumps every single time I listen her.
She won competition "you are super!", some russian version of The Voice.
The interesting information: After Diana winning in that competition, famous russian composer Igor Krutoy, who intensively cooperate with Dimash (many songs what Dimash singing are Igor creation) give her apartment in Moscow that Diana can study on best music school. Amazing, isn't?

Just two things I'd like to mention: I've watched like a dozen videos where professional singers and vocal coaches were reacting to Dimash. Nobody, again _nobody_ mentioned the most important thing why is he so good, except for you. He has had _lots_ of training. He was fortunate enough to be born into a musically inclined family, and to have talent, which was discovered early on, but that would worth nothing without hours of daily trainings.
Also, at around 7:55 you mentioned that he's holding that note so well even without vibrato. Of course, he is, because he has perfect pitch (I've read that somewhere). When someone with PP hears a note which even just slightly off, they immediately recognize it, and start feeling uncomfortable, like "normal" people (without perfect pitch) who hear something very out of tune.
I feel a shortness of breath every single time I watch a Dimash video 😂🤩

If you fancy doing another compilation then "Dimash without a mic" is a great one. Or there's lots of songs to choose from, depending on what you want to analyse that particular day there's all sorts be it, full opera voice, low or high, Solo or duets etc; pure pop, pop dominant with little bits of other contemporary music, movie themes, covers of famous English songs, more traditional aimed songs instrument and voice or melding traditional with modern too; solo and duet approach to same song, doing duets with other singers male or female, singing in larger groups. All sorts to choose from :). If you ever need help finding a specific type of Dimash song I'm sure if you put out what kind of song you fancy listening to/analysing and I'm sure the Dears that are subscribed to you will be able to find something within those parameters pretty quickly for you:)
