HEALING PRAYER WITH PSALM 91 AND PSALM 23
May the peace of our Lord Jesus Christ be upon each one of you who listens to us at this moment. May your healing and protecting hand be upon each of these your sons who hear us, to you we pray Psalm 91.
Because the one who dwells in the shelter of the Highest will abide in the shadow of the Almighty.
I will say to the Lord: He is my God, my refuge, my fortress, and in him I will trust.
Because he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the deadly pestilence.
He will cover you with his pinions, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness is a shield and buckler.
You will not fear the terror of the night, nor the arrow that flies by day.
You will not fear the pestilence that stalks in darkness.
You will not fear the destruction that wastes at noonday.
A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you.
Only with your eyes shall you look and see the recompense of the wicked.
Because you, O Lord, are my refuge. You have made the Highest your dwelling place.
No evil shall befall you, nor shall any plague come near your tent.
Because you will command your angels concerning guard you in all the ways.
On their hands they will bear you up, lest you strike your foot against a stone.
You will tread on the lion and the adder; the young lion and the serpent you will trample underfoot.
Because he holds fast to me in love, I will deliver him; I will protect him, because he knows my name.
When he calls to me, I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will rescue him and honor him.
With long life I will satisfy him and show him my salvation.
Merciful Lord, in this moment of prayer, in this moment of faith, we ask for your mighty hand on the shoulder of each of these your sons who are here.
The people here in these comments, my God, bless each heart, bless each mind, take away each of the pains that make so many of your sons suffer, my God.
Lord, today we pray to you the prayer of healing, my father, for all the pains, for all the illnesses, people with cancer, people in hospital beds, suffering, clamoring, asking, waiting for your grace, your power.
Lord, bless these people who are troubled, my God.
