- hey guys! sorry for the super long wait in between videos. i was not planning on disappearing like that, but you know... stuff happens. it's summer now, so i am planning on getting back into uploading regularly. this channel is super fun for me and i have loads of video ideas, so expect some new stuff to come soon! as always, i do read the comments, so put some ideas for videos if you are so inclined!

It's shocking how Lena went 3 whole seasons without knowing Kara was supergirl, and even when she did finally find out, it was only because Lex told her

The fact that even cat can figure it out. Thats not me insulting cat's intelligence but considering the achievements tied to lena's name, you'd think she'd get it sooner

something that I found really cool is that at 5:14 you can see a flash of Kara's blue coat, indicating the editors took the time to show a blur of her catching the bullet.
i didnt see it first, now that you mention it it was blue blur 5:15
I saw the blur, but I didn't catch that it was blue. Good bit of consistency there, cause they could've easily messed that up!
Talking of that, was that a Wonder Woman reference? What do you think?

The 2nd plane scene was hilarious, just watching Lena
They were really smart with how they presented Eve, not knowing she knows you assume she is aloof when Kara uses her powers and Eve doesn’t notice, when you know she knows you understand she was purposely doing that so isn’t able to see Kara use her powers.
This was so much fun to watch! Miss the show.

7:20 I can buy her slipping to the computer, but computers often take time to load and can get frozen if you're too fast. Even regular humans can be fast enough to confuse a computer sometimes. This was too risky.
She arrived as a child, like 12 or 14. Superman placed her with the Danvers family. That other girl Alex is her adoptive sister.
She was sent to earth at 12 with baby clark but her pod got knocked into the phantom zone. So she got stuck there for 24yrs until her pod got free and finally made it to earth but since time doesnt pass in the phantom zone she remained a child. Clark had made it to earth the 24yrs prior so was already and adult/superman by the time she got there. She also didnt use her powers after her teenage years which is partly why she was so sloppy in earlier seasons.
(The first clip was the first time she used her powers in years and only becuz her sister's plane was crashing. She had no plan to become a superhero til that exhilarating moment there was just no turning back)

im sorry but the fact that glasses were her disguise annoyed the hell out of me. you're telling me that you are so bad at knowing someone that you cant recognize someone just because of glasses. the fact that Cat was supposed to be like really smart and it took her longer than expected and supergirls face was all over the building and city.
In the comics they further elaborate that it's not just the glasses. They change their entire demeanor. And if you think that's not enough, note that Henry Cavill stood in front of a billboard advertising Man of steel with a Superman shirt barely concealed under his hoodie (fully visible from the front) and went completely unrecognized. People see what they expect to see.
