Hey Billy, I have successfully installed SSMS Developer version along with SSIS, yet I'm not getting an option for choosing my data base while importing the data, can you please help here? Thanks for the great installation tutorials.
hey Billy, i think this person(& I as well) request for the odbc connector video because, you mentioned in the video(at 2:20 approx.) that if one doesn't see the Excel option they'll need the odbc connector. i'm using Excel on the web, & perhaps that's the reason I don't see the Excel option
i saw your odbc connector video, but I don't think i need to do all the mySql & more, do i? do you think opening the odbc(32-bit) and simply adding the Excel option will get the job done?
Hi Billy, I did do the SSIS installation like you suggested but still am getting stuck while importing the excel sheet. Any guidance you can provide is appreciated.
Can't import excel files to SSMS still. Hi, I hope you're having a great day, I would appreciate your help, I have installed SSMS and SSIS exactly as to teach on your videos :) and have no import error, I have installed Office Professional Plus 2021 and SSMS 20.0

Can you send me a screenshot of the error you are getting and the excel spreadsheet you are trying to import? Please sent to jobs@alljoydata.com
Thanks for responding. Realized that had to import through the 64 bit version from the app itself and not from the import action from SQL server.
@@ashmitachakraborty6637 Thank you for the update. I will keep that in mind if others are having problems.
