The only reason Marts & Targets illegally raised their prices was so the resellers & scalpers would stop buying it all & reselling for massive profits. Honestly, I blame the casuals with money to throw around. If you people would stop overpaying, along with everyone else, retailers would be forced to cut the prices. You guys should know that optic, select, prizm, & mozaic blasters cost around $8 & Megas cost close to $20 through distributors. Only problem is, they run out quick at those prices. Once stores run out of product, they'll buy retail from ppl at 80-85% market price. Then flip at 110% market.
It's not Walmart/target charging crazy prices, it's the distributors. They are the greediest people in the entire world. The hobby box distributors are 100x worst too. For example, they get allocated WNBA Select hobby boxes for around $130 a box and they're selling them for over $1000 lol. I can't stand them
