A sponsor can have a last balance of two million naira and the applicant gets resident permit. And another Sponsor can have 50million naira and the applicant is denied resident permit. It takes a while. Weeks and months even. What's important is that you are in contact with school if you could not make it to the start of study in August.

Hello, one who sponsors himself/herself gets residence permit faster than those who have sponsors. I have those who sponsored themselves through their salary and property, and they got permit in three weeks. They are here in Finland. So, there is absolutely no reason to be scared. If all you have is legit with legit documentation to prove it, then you should be more excited that those with sponsors😊

I have a video on how to get your Permit Application right and it centered on Sponsorship and Find clarification. I urge you to watch it. Having said that, your parents can be your sponsor. If they sold a land to sponsor you, then the documents for the land sale should be ready and attached in your application. It is very important that the money in your account comes directly from your parents account and that the depositor of the money in your Dad's account should be the name of the person the land was sold to. Secondly, even though the money at hand seems enough, Finnish Immigration would want to know how your parents intend to pay the school and maintainance fee for the rest of your study years. Provide documents also to ensure that they believe you are not going to be a liability to the state after your first year of studies. Goodluck!

When I was making a video for the entrance exam they asked us to show the passport identification page so while I was filming my son took scissors and made some cuts in my passport. What are your suggestions If I get accepted

He made 2 small cuts in the last 2 pages however the other pages are OK( identification page and others are not affected) So do you advice me to change it nw or wait till until I get admitted and change it. I( May be I still have to use it for the interview part if they ask to show it again) bec for sure if I use it to apply for the visa, the embassy will not accept these cuts. So if I go with the second solution my question is will the university accept to update the new passport number to my acceptance letter if I contact them once I get accepted. You can notify school if you get a new passport and it won't be a problem. However, I still suggest you speak to your Country Embassy and explain what has happened and ask for direction on what you should do regarding the Passport. If the damage is much that you will need a new Passport or not.

My father is planning to make a loan frm the bank and send that money to my bank account as he will be my sponsor( Im planning to move with my husband and 2 kids). Will this be accepted? My father is not a business man but he has a job of about 2000 euro per month. 3. What if the visa is rejected after the university fee is paid ? Will the university return the money . Has the borrower been able to make that amount before? And other things they consider. Borrowing is not always the best because Immigration often give negative decisions to people that borrowed money. If at all he should borrow, I advice he does it just for you because carrying your husband and kids in one go might jeopardize the success rate. Schools return paid tuition to everyone student who paid but did not get residence permit to come for their studies.

No. People don't always complete their studies as planned. So, three extra month will not be problem.
