Raul convinced me not worth giving up vassell + xy&z for Markennen but why couldnt we win right now with Markenenen? He'd be tremendous complimenting the big W. On one hand W is maybe goat but on the other everyone says we cant win? Unless we tank like last year...(sochan at point? Tanked for Castle! ok then...)
Spurs need to see who fall into their lap in the draft before deciding on major signings.
Feels like Lauri getting an extension could work for us. Without that I dont see us sending out picks. I would not offer KJ, I think he is a big assest from a leadership perspective.
A known commodity is not a guaranteed commodity. As good to player as he is, he also has a checkered injury history. And to use the investing an allergy, don’t put all of your eggs in one basket basket. Hang onto your investments and allow them time to compound
Anything giving up devin is to much,he has the best chemistry with Wemby on the team he is the best tough shot taker and tough shot maker we got. we will keep him for the future.
We would have to give up the barn to get Markkanen, and I don't think its a smart decision. So many people are eager to see Wemby in the playoffs and, I get it, but this is a rebuild to a dynasty. We have no interest in one championship and a couple of playoff runs. We want multiple championships and a playoff run that rivals or bests the big 3's success.

Lauri is basically what DJ used to be. Fringe All-Star who is NOT superstar on the team. In fact, he might be worse than DJ in some sense. Better shooter than DJ, but worse defender and much more injury-prone player who never even hit 70 games. On top of that Danny Ainge is one of the best GM to fleece other team, meaning price would be ridiculously high. No reason to mortgage our future for him at all.
Just wait till he hits free agency if he ends up being on the market

Vassell doesn’t even like passing Wemby the ball, he a one man, do everything himself player. How many times you see Wemby open last year, and Vassell take a tough shot? Be real, Vassell is NOT that guy.
No just to acquire his services it would be costly plus I heard Lauri Markkanen is a free agent at the end of the year. I Just think we would be better of waiting on the 2025 draft and see If we can get Cooper Flagg. 1 of those 1st round picks should be in the lottery. Not at the price that Danny Ainge is asking for. Jeff we can't give up are future. for like you said a player going into his prime.

Danny Ainge is not a good GM. He's just pricing himself and his team from a decent deal.
He is a good GM in the sense that he gets top dollar/assets from trades, but I think we’re too smart to give him what he wants. Let the Warriors kill their future and trade for him
