Yankees got embarrassed after trading all those prospects to the Padres for a 1-year rental Soto just to get CLAPPED in the first WS in 15 years on your own homefield. Soto was plan A, he's now in Queens. Snell was plan B if Soto left but he signed with LA before the first slice of Turkey lol. So now they're in panic mode overpaying for plan C Fried to avoid being crucified by the fans if they didn't make some kind of splash to ease the pain of losing the World Series and Soto all in the span of 39 days 😂😂😂😂
Embarrassed what? Those prospects weren't that good and the Yankees had a roster crunch coming, so they were gonna have to move them anyways. The only guy they missed is Michael King who's a free agent next year. They did get back 1 million dollars of international pool money and a 2nd and 5th round pick from the Mets for losing Soto. They didn't lose him for nothing.
Blake snell is amazing you can say better. He’s older and I’m sure 5 and 8 years is to many for either pitcher. We have to see who’s healthy at end of year. I truly think the agent for Soto Snell and even Alonso will be what keeps them out of New York! He’s always used Yankees to drive up prizes.
