Oh my goodness, I work with this guy. He is one of the most gentle and kind professors that I know. We teach different disciplines (I'm a math professor) but we both teach in the same division at our college. If he says that he'll read the materials, he will! What you see is what you get with him!

It breaks my heart that good people squirm when the name of Jesus is mentioned. My husband is very intelligent, and he admits that if you look at the human DNA there is no way it was an accident, he can't quite wrap his head around Jesus being our savior. A vision or dream won't work for this man, believe me, I know. I too have a science background and was an atheist for decades. Unlike most atheists who claim they need evidence and proof - they really don't, they just say that to make it sound like they're open minded and reasonable - when I said this, I was being one hundred percent sincere. So I would click on YT or Google things to prove Christ, and would find all these amazing stories about people having dreams/visions/Near Death Experiences (NDE), and think to myself if God is real, why won't he give me proof of his existence, is he playing favourites? The catch was, the things I've just mentioned I would have rationalised away: a dream - just nonsense created by a brain in an altered state of conscience (sleeping), a vision - a hallucination, a NDE... a crazy experience conjured up by a brain lacking oxygen and dying... none of those would have come even close to being acceptable as proof to me. So proof backed by science to prove the supernatural was what was needed, which is a pretty tall order, eh? But our Lord and Saviour is a smart guy, he knew exactly what would bring me onboard, and he presented it to me in June of this year! "What is it?", I hear you ask, and the answer is... The Shroud of Turin! I'm one hundred percent certain you know what it is, the burial shroud that is supposed to be what our Lord was wrapped in after the crucifixion... the science behind that piece of linen is absolutely stunning! Hardcore atheists will only discuss the carbon dating that was carried out in 1988 and came back that the shroud was a middle age fake, but if you look at the most recent scientific results, the evidence that the claims made about the shroud being Christ's burial garment, is simply overwhelming. To look at the science and still deny it is simply insane, the resurrection really did happen, and that fact proves the Christian claims have to be true! If you haven't looked into the latest findings on the shroud, I would urge you to do so. They were enough to sweep me out of the atheist world, and as you already are a believer, you're going to be totally stunned by what they found! 🙏🏻

He’s just like the guy in the video, thinks he’s the smartest guy ever. I ask him “can I show you an argument for the Bible?” He says yes. I show him fulfilled astronomical prophecy in the Bible and since he can’t refute it, he gets offended and says “I disagree with a lot in the Bible”. I just told him “I’m not here to offend you, just trying to watch for your soul” and that was it. In my experience people that think they’re too smart take apologetic arguments like you’re challenging them and pushing it down their throat. They don’t take it like an option because of their intellectual pride.
What does that mean? I hear this all the time. Does it just mean you hope for something for him? Are you literally asking God to intervene in some way on his behalf? If so, do you think God would alter his plans based on you asking? I’m fascinated by the concept of prayer.

I can't believe with all his vast knowledge and scientific explanations how in the world this man is not a Christian! There is definitely something emotional going on. I always find it funny how, when asked about breaking one of the commandments everyone always says "Of course! Just like everyone else!" As if just because everyone else does it, it makes it ok to break it.
In following what the guy was saying, he in a very roundabout away admitted to being agnostic. His head was probably swimming with his thoughts and intellect that he simply gave a raw reaction in saying that he broke the commandments. "Of course, who hasn't", that type of response is also an admission no one can keep those standards. This guy too is a college professors in the United States, he probably makes some big bucks and lives and very comfortable lifestyle. My own Pastor has said that our fellow citizens can live temporarily in this world with all of their essentials met. In summation Americans can live very comfortable and successful lifestyles without ever turning to God. He would very soberly ask, how are those types of people going to fair in the afterlife? That one really touched my heart because you could tell that he was truly seeking. It is questionable whether or not this man is a doctor of anything. People who speak of alternate universes and a deep knowledge of topics like cellular expansion, I tend to sidestep. He did get convicted though and said he was open minded. You always plant a seed Ray...God bless you.

It honestly takes greater Faith to believe everything happened by sheer luck than for God to have been responsible for it, regardless even if a person believes it is all mere coincidence it still does not explain where the Singularity that caused the Big Bang came from and the source of all existence is still something that will remain unanswered while people will still remain without the truth of why reality exists and what is the grand meaning of everything else in life, this typically leads to Nihilism which then leads to existential crisis’s as well as immense internal suffering as well as more apathy which leads to violence and immorality which then ultimately leads to death. Rejecting God leads to misery, perhaps the effects of such choices may not be occurring to everyone in the moment they realize it but we are all decaying and life is fleeting which means we will all eventually face the reality of our temporary lives and we will all always have that curiosity to us as to why life is the way it is, why it exists and where it all ultimately comes from. Everything cannot come from nothing it is literally impossible while everything can come from something or more specifically something eternal and infinitely capable on all terms while being boundless. God is real whether you believe it or not, while ultimately this is not a matter of whether he is real or not logically speaking but rather I understand many reject God due to them lacking knowledge and understanding while others reject God because they love their darkness/sin and refuse to obey God when he demands us to turn away from our wickedness, Pride is a very dangerous thing which leads to Death and great consequences not just to one individual but to those around them and to the environment as well. So yes let us pray to Jesus Christ our lord and savior who has paid our debt of sin on our behalf and washes our sins away if we believe in him and become obedient to God repenting of our sins. Good and Evil exist and they’re a concept based on the truth of objective reality, just with a faithful justice court system God will judge all of us like the court judges a criminal holding them accountable of all their crimes against the laws of the land, while with God he will judge us according to our sins against creation, to each other, to ourselves and against God. We will all face God and the thing about that is it will be whenever our body no longer functions returning back to the dirt while our spirits in which our consciousness resides in will return back to it’s sender where we will be judged for what we have done and pay the wages of our sins which is eternal death/separation from God and all his goodness. Tomorrow is never guaranteed to anyone, death is one moment away and we can go for any reason at any time unpredictably and unknowingly. Today is the day of salvation and every day that we come to wake up from our sleep and experience life for another moment is a blessing from God, another opportunity to make things right with him and to make the better choices for our lives.
From what he says, he has read and thought about the Bible, God, Jesus and many spiritual and esoteric things. He seems close to accepting God's revelation but comes up just short maybe because of the question of evil or maybe a personal tragedy which causes questions of trust or love. If he can be honest and humble towards God he can come to the knowledge of Christ and be saved :)

But God is the maker of the universe from the outside, all of time and all of space and matter. They are just a toy on his desk at best. He's thinking small.

I’ve had this exact line of thinking before, that intellectually proud people will respond well to apologetics.
I’m in college talking to a friend about the gospel. He’s just like the guy in the video, thinks he’s the smartest guy ever. I ask him “can I show you an argument for the Bible?” He says yes. I show him fulfilled astronomical prophecy in the Bible and since he can’t refute it, he gets offended and says “I disagree with a lot in the Bible”. I just told him “I’m not here to offend you, just trying to watch for your soul” and that was it.
In my experience people that think they’re too smart take apologetic arguments like you’re challenging them and pushing it down their throat. They don’t take it like an option because of their intellectual pride.

What does that mean? I hear this all the time. Does it just mean you hope for something for him? Are you literally asking God to intervene in some way on his behalf? If so, do you think God would alter his plans based on you asking? I’m fascinated by the concept of prayer.

I can't believe with all his vast knowledge and scientific explanations how in the world this man is not a Christian! There is definitely something emotional going on. Notice when he talked about how could God care about us and all the evil in the world... Praying for his salvation now! What an amazing testimony he will have! And yes, I kept up with his mind. Quite fascinating. Makes me think of Louie Giglio that gave those seminars on God's creation. So incredible! That's why this man will have a wonderful testimony and praying for him right now.

I always find it funny how, when asked about breaking one of the commandments everyone always says "Of course! Just like everyone else!"
As if just because everyone else does it, it makes it ok to break it.
In following what the guy was saying, he in a very roundabout away admitted to being agnostic. His head was probably swimming with his thoughts and intellect that he simply gave a raw reaction in saying that he broke the commandments.
"Of course, who hasn't", that type of response is also an admission no one can keep those standards.
This guy too is a college professors in the United States, he probably makes some big bucks and lives and very comfortable lifestyle.
My own Pastor has said that our fellow citizens can live temporarily in this world with all of their essentials met. In summation Americans can live very comfortable and successful lifestyles without ever turning to God. He would very soberly ask, how are those types of people going to fair in the afterlife? Please pray for the guy in the video.

Have you all seen one of Ray's newer videos with the Jewish professor? The Jewish prof. is a colleague of this man. He watched this video, prayed that he would meet Ray, and God answered his prayer. That one really touched my heart because you could tell that he was truly seeking. I pray that the man in this video puts his trust in Jesus......but how beautiful that his Jewish colleague may very well come to Christ, in part bc of this intweview ❤
It is questionable whether or not this man is a doctor of anything. People who speak of alternate universes and a deep knowledge of topics like cellular expansion, I tend to sidestep. He did get convicted though and said he was open minded. You always plant a seed Ray...God bless you.

It was then that I realized (because of Him)I couldn’t obey till I was completely aware of my sin and how helpless I was in my own strength. Self-assembly, seems like he was talking about biochemical reactions, like how things work in your cells. I just think it's amazing that cells basically work by vibrating things around microscopically and everything just falls into place as needed and work gets done. Amazing designs.

Odin may call himself a god but we Christian’s know he’s simply a fallen angel, as for Thor we know according to Genesis that he’s a Nephilim, a offspring of a fallen angel who procreated with a human woman. You may not believe in God but that doesn’t change the objective reality of God’s existence considering the Universe requires a creator in order for their to be a beginning which is a scientific fact that the universe did have a beginning which is the Big Bang which was a hot singularity point of energy which bursted from a infinite source. As for the Universe itself, it just so fortunately happens to be finely and complexly tuned for there to be life on Earth, if the Earth were 1cm closer to the Sun it would be too hot and the Earth wouldn’t be able to have life due to the intense heat while 1cm farther from the Sun would make the Earth too cold for there to be any chances of life to happen. It honestly takes greater Faith to believe everything happened by sheer luck than for God to have been responsible for it, regardless even if a person believes it is all mere coincidence it still does not explain where the Singularity that caused the Big Bang came from and the source of all existence is still something that will remain unanswered while people will still remain without the truth of why reality exists and what is the grand meaning of everything else in life, this typically leads to Nihilism which then leads to existential crisis’s as well as immense internal suffering as well as more apathy which leads to violence and immorality which then ultimately leads to death. Rejecting God leads to misery, perhaps the effects of such choices may not be occurring to everyone in the moment they realize it but we are all decaying and life is fleeting which means we will all eventually face the reality of our temporary lives and we will all always have that curiosity to us as to why life is the way it is, why it exists and where it all ultimately comes from. Everything cannot come from nothing it is literally impossible while everything can come from something or more specifically something eternal and infinitely capable on all terms while being boundless. God is real whether you believe it or not, while ultimately this is not a matter of whether he is real or not logically speaking but rather I understand many reject God due to them lacking knowledge and understanding while others reject God because they love their darkness/sin and refuse to obey God when he demands us to turn away from our wickedness, Pride is a very dangerous thing which leads to Death and great consequences not just to one individual but to those around them and to the environment as well. So yes let us pray to Jesus Christ our lord and savior who has paid our debt of sin on our behalf and washes our sins away if we believe in him and become obedient to God repenting of our sins. Good and Evil exist and they’re a concept based on the truth of objective reality, just with a faithful justice court system God will judge all of us like the court judges a criminal holding them accountable of all their crimes against the laws of the land, while with God he will judge us according to our sins against creation, to each other, to ourselves and against God. We will all face God and the thing about that is it will be whenever our body no longer functions returning back to the dirt while our spirits in which our consciousness resides in will return back to it’s sender where we will be judged for what we have done and pay the wages of our sins which is eternal death/separation from God and all his goodness. Tomorrow is never guaranteed to anyone, death is one moment away and we can go for any reason at any time unpredictably and unknowingly. Today is the day of salvation and every day that we come to wake up from our sleep and experience life for another moment is a blessing from God, another opportunity to make things right with him and to make the better choices for our lives.

From what he says, he has read and thought about the Bible, God, Jesus and many spiritual and esoteric things. He seems close to accepting God's revelation but comes up just short maybe because of the question of evil or maybe a personal tragedy which causes questions of trust or love. If he can be honest and humble towards God he can come to the knowledge of Christ and be saved :)
It's amazing, that as he's describing how God must be a bigger supreme being, he's still describing things that would have to be small enough to exist within the universe. But God is the maker of the universe from the outside, all of time and all of space and matter. They are just a toy on his desk at best. He's thinking small.
