@12:35, 7 languages😮. So how many do you speak? Currently still using my ZF4 and don.’t feel the need to upgrade this year. I replaced my internal screen protector for the first time in July and aside from that, it’s holding up well.
I only speak English and the tiniest bit of Arabic. That gene skipped a generation 🫠. Totally fair, the Fold 4 is still great and shares most of the 6's killer features. Hope you enjoy it for a long while to come. Basil
I have the Fold 5 which has the same camera like the s23 and the s23 plus. Have you ever heard anyone complain about the s23 and the s23 plus' camera?`I think there is a lot of unnecessary bashing going on and the camera of the fold is not bad at all.
The battery life is dependent on which screen you use most for me. As for overheating, it got hot when tethering mainly, but never uncomfortably so, otherwise it was fine in my experience. Hope you get to the bottom of what's causing it. Basil
@@tryntrox pretty sure i replied and it didn't show up or got deleted. GoogGuardian from the galaxy store. It's a Samsung suite of apps like goodlock, but for maintenence and keeping your device running optimal.
I would have upgraded, but they kept the same cameras as the 2 previous gens!!! I have the z fold 4 its the best deal, same cam specs, and got 500 1tb looks new. Fold 6 is amazing, design, and awesome looking. I just need a rational reason to upgrade other than looks.
Really? Sorry to hear - what's been up with your Fold 6? I've spoken with a few other reviewers who've been using it since launch and have really enjoyed it. Basil
The cameras are bloody terrible. Shutter lag, motion blue and poor low light performance. Mediocre and it's a shame since it's my favourite phone manufacturer
I've never experienced a great camera on a foldable available in the West apart from the OnePlus Open, and even that has its issues. While I agree with you when comparing to non-folding phones, for a foldable with half the space for camera hardware given the fact they fold, you have to take the hit unless you're happy importing a Chinese or Indian Vivo X Fold 3 Pro which is considerably bigger. Hope that context helps! Basil

@rcdh4u I'm more crucial as the price tag is very high. If I'm spending almost double, I expect to get the best cameras available. Still not sure why they can't just put the ultra cameras on these devices.
The crease may be the killer for me. I'd like a portable, pocketable drawing sketchpad. But the deep crease and soft inner screen will hurt the ecperience
I can only recommend this for Samsung fans who are loyal to the brand and prefer to use Samsung devices exclusively. There are better options available that are considerably cheaper, with a thinner design and a usable front display. My top choice is the upcoming Magic V3. It is as thin as the S24U, has an aspect ratio similar to candy bar phones, is more durable, has a significantly larger battery, faster wired and wireless charging, better cameras, a nicer hinge and less crease. The main reason is that it is much cheaper than the Fold6 in the UK. Though, in response to poor sales of the Fold6, Samsung has lowered the pricing in an effort to save face. When Samsung eventually make a better design, then maybe potential buyers like me will give them a second chance, but at the moment, it is purely a Samsung fan phone.
Bro I am having S23U and ZF6 brought it based on You tube influencer. I feel like my decision was wrong for ZF6 it is way behind if compair screen with candy bar phone screen and fold competitor offering far better hardware. Look like vivo have better engineers they can give 5700mah battery in phone as compared with samsung 4400mah batter with 25wat charge 😂
@maheshkumar444 you should have waited until October or next summer that will be the real upgrade even though the fold 6 I tested it its alright not there yet
It's still just so far behind the OnePlus open, Vivo X fold 3 Pro, Xiaomi Mix Fold 4 and now the Honor Magic V3. Software can only do so much before the horrendous hardware can't be overcome.
six weeks isn't long term. I freaking hate techtubers that use that phrase with phones they've used for less than half a year and slap it on the title to get views. Just be honest and call it a short term review.
Long-term isn't in the title. Six weeks is. There's full transparency. Tech reviewers typically spend a week or less per device, so it is long-term compared to a typical review cycle. Either way, the exact time I spent with the phone is in the title, so you can decide whether it's worth watching or not. Hope you found the video useful or interesting nevertheless! Have a great day, Basil
Not to be that guy, but I clicked because I noticed the words " long term " in the thumbnail. Where you could say it was the title of that thumbnail, so yes you did have long term in your title.
Thanks for the comment. For a tech reviewer, absolutely. A standard review is done in a week or less. The fact it's six weeks is stated on the title for full transparency. Hope you found the video useful! Basil

People always talk about one plus open and the chinese foldables. But they all forget how bad their software is.

Two main issues that make me miss my s23 ultra : overheating and terrible battery life... not sure if all ZF6s have the same issues or just mine

Mine has never over heated, actually runs really cool. I also use good guardians and have the thermal guardian set to the lowest threshold.

No issues with battery life or overheating. Coming from Z Fold 3 and Pixel Fold.

Vivo x fold 3 pro is a beast , coming from oneplus open is incredible this origin os chinese version of vivo ❤❤
Ah - you got the Origin OS version! I'm using 'fun'touch 😅... still, an excellent phone, and the best camera on a foldable.
That was bad news for the crease and spent, because that increase surface would be great for notes taking.
Great review. You need to do a year after review for the z fold 6 next year
Where are these reviews coming from. My fold is giving me a nightmare. Is Samsung counting us all in their research on achieving a stable fold phone.

Yeah and software wise, all chinese brands are garbage
In software Samsung is king of Android it's better than ios with one ui 6.1.1 . That's why I'm waiting for z fold 6 special edition
