If Haley is pregnant and gives birth in the season 4 finale and it takes 9 months she should have gotten pregnant around the beginning of the school year which is the beginning of season 3. She finds out she's pregnant in the beginning of season 4 so that would make season 3 be over the span of like two months. Season 3 was not two months because in that time Peyton's mom dies and Keith dies and so much more. In 3x17 Lucas' phone says it's January.

I do feel bad for him because Haley not telling him for three works must've hurt him because that is a big thing to not tell your husband. I get where she was coming from though because Nathan was still going through PTSD from his accident, and I get why Brooke was there with her. I feel like she should've told Nathan before Lucas though. In Nathan's perspective, it would hurt to find out that your wife told two other people about the baby before you. Also, I love how Nathan just turned Rachel down like that instantly. He looks so annoyed and done with her lol.
In fairness to Haley, Lucas and Brooke were two of her most trusted people so because she cannot just tell Nathan her pregnancy due to his PTSD and his basketball career, she leaned on to those two for the meantime as she gather strength and support.
