Broad Gauge Monsters of Braniewo #2

Part two of my videos from Braniewo and surroundings, showing broad gauge locomotives on the old Ostbahn (eastern railway) from Berlin to Königsberg (today Kaliningrad). The place is particularly interesting, because it is one of the few places, where you can see Russian locomotives entering the European Union. All locomotives showing up in Braniewo are from the Kaliningrad division and are equipped with new engines (but without a silencer). On this compilation, we'll see the locomotives of the ST48, TEM2, 2M62 and 2M62U classes, but also normal gauge - class 66, SM42 6Dg and the BR232.
Propably the most interesting spot on this compilation is the station in Chruściel. Over there, we can find old mechanical semaphore signals and one of the few in Poland mechanical distant signals. On the station, there are two track gauges - normal (1435mm) and broad gauge (1520mm).
We begin on a curve in the middle of the forest, near the distant signals to Braniewo. From behind the curve, rolls out the 2M62-(0)504 articulated loco with a long mixed manifest. After arriving at Braniewo, the track is taken by the 2M62U-0377 headed to the border. The designation tells, that the locomotive should be articulated, however it's just a single unit. It climbs up the rough hill with a container train. The engine can be heard from far away, when the locomotive struggles to pull its train up the grade.
Next we move to the Braniewo station. We watch the ST48-060 shunting, a class 66 and the 2M62, which brought the train to Braniewo earlier that day.
Next we arrive at Chruściel. We watch a PKPC SM42 6Dg switch sides of the shunter train it had brought earlier. We also see a Ludmilla 232 depart from the station and head westbound.
At the end, we move to a known place from my first vid, near the town of Zgoda, where we watch a very colorful manifest train pass and head to the border with Russia (hauled by 2M62-(0)504). Just behind it, propably the most interesting thing I caught that day, which was a normal gauge 2M62 of the RZhD (Russian railways).
