I'm a double amputee drummer. I used to drum for the band straight jacket we were pretty big band out of Illinois. We got to open up for Black label society. Best night of my life. Zakk is such a cool guy. And I'm glad I can call him a friend. He waited for us when we were done and you know Zakks a tall guy, and I'm in a wheelchair so it was like he bent over like 30 feet just to get down to get to my eye level. He said the best thing ever said to me, and only to me I might add. he didn't go to any of the other drummers from the other bands. He bent over and he was like dude you beat the hell out of them drums. That's the best compliment ever. And I made a friend that night. To this day when I see zakk,he knows me he he will talk to me. he will come up to me and says hi. shoot he recorded a short video for my son when he was in Iraq.for him and his buddies in his unit. It's on TH-cam. My point being Zakk is a honest genuine guy and he really really does care about his fans and his friends. Love you brother zakk. Hey sixx you should have me on your show. I'm a bilateral lower. Limb amputee drummer. Opened for bls, Motorhead, Dope n many others...I'd love to share how I play with the world.... I must be doing something right for zakk to take time to compliment my playing.

Ozzy while hard to understand at times is still very entertaining both onstage and off.
I like how he always sounds "surprised" or "confused" or "shocked". He also has a kind of "matter of fact" tone in his voice. My favorite quote from the madman is on his Bark At The Moon Tour" I was so far gone you would've have to have had someone with a video camera following me around to show me what I was up to on any given day!!!" It sounds like ozzy's speech is slowly coming back he is making more sense now then he was a few years ago
He seems a lot more spry and way more "with it" now, than he has been in a long time. Back in the "meet the Osbournes" he couldn't even finish words, never minds sentences. Actually he sounds great in his recent live stuff and that last Black Sabbath album was pretty badass.
i agree..sometimes psychiatrists give people medications that are suppose to help with depression, anxiety etc and maybe they do but they come with issues of their own such as mind fog, and personality defects. Just a theory as far as the thing with Ozzy,.
Ozzy was diagnosed with some disease similar to Parkinson’s right after the ozzbournes show ended. He has been taking meds and I think had an operation that fixed up whatever his problem was. That’s why he has gotten more and more legible in the years after the ozzbournes. It’s why he doesn’t shake and mumble as much any more. He’s still impossible to understand but it’s way better than when he was fucked up on drugs and booze with a Parkinson’s like condition during the ozzbournes show
Zakk seems way sharper off the booze too, hadn’t noticed it as much before this vid.

What is lost in all the stuff about Ozzy's craziness is the fact that he DELIVERS in concert, at least he did when I saw him , solo with several bands backing him and with Black Sabbath. He knows what he is doing onstage

I was in pop's bar that night when they came in at 4 am.i was 17 years old working there.Ill never forget it. They played Paranoid and Ozzy stopped in the middle of the song and walked off stage.Ive been an Ozzy fan since.
I've been using TH-cam since 2007, and this is the first time I've ever turned on closed captioning.
I met Zakk last weekend before a show. He’s so grateful for Ozzy and the respect he has for him isn’t just an on camera thing. I told him how much I love No Rest For the Wicked and he turned to the rest of the band and said something along the lines of “it’s so awesome when young kids talk about old music from me and the Boss.” He said how thankful he is that Ozzy saw something in him and gave him a shot. I actually know the guy who came in 2nd to Zakk in auditions. He’s said the same thing about Ozzy and Zakk.
I can never understand Ozzy, but get a feel for what he says, and then Zakk brings it home.
He truly has Ozzy understood and decoded. Respect of being quiet and understanding him to translate.
As so many here have already commented. Zakk is so awesome and multi-talented, really an amazing person.

Zak was a kid when Ozzy picked him up. Oz is pretty much his dad. He calls Sharon mom
They both lived in Hidden Hills Calabasas. I use to drive residence there, usually to the airport, for a limo service. I knew which house Nikki & Ozzy lived in, but I never got to drive them. It’s a very large gated community. That’s where the most famous residents live the Kardashians.
I've had the honor of meeting Zakk twice, once with my son and wife and once myself and he's such a great person, nicest guy in the world. Thanks Zakk!

My first concert was Ozzy(Diary Tour) and the opening band was Motley Crue! Nikki ran out during Ozzy’s set in a suit of armor and poured a bucket of water on him. Best show ever.

Damn, met Ozzy back on the Bark At The Moon tour when Motley was touring with him during their Shout at the Devil album tour, waaay back. I am honestly shocked all of these guys are still alive...bottles of JD on stage, they were drunk as hell (but played well surprisingly), they carried Ozzy around like a piece of luggage and he just signed whatever was in front of him at the autograph session, but will give him credit for being friendly and loving my friend's sketch of him she did, said he was going to hang it in his home.
Looks like Ozzy's finishing the creation of his own language and decided to practice a little bit in this interview.

Congrats Sixx! Such a triumphant story of sobriety! Alcohol coursed through my veins for 25 years 24/7 until one sunny afternoon, traveling from one bar to another I ran over and killed a woman on a bicycle. 😢 I paid societies debt but still live for two people now, living sober and helping people with addictions. Stay sober and Rock! 🤟

Omg about 10 years ago I use to listen to Nikki Sixx podcast it was great and seeing ozzy and Nikki in the same room is amazing I love them both and Zakk Wild BLS and Jenn I couldn't ask for anything more what a way to fall asleep listening to them talk it's like I'm there
Love these guys. Met Zakk in the 90's at a guitar clinic...he's an awesome dude. Nikki is amazing and is a true rock star. Ozzy gave the world so much. Can't say enough good about these guys and their genuine love and respect for their fans.

I’ve met Zakk several times. One of the coolest guys ever. Randy and Zakk are two of my biggest influences ever as is Ozzy. I agree with them about the recording process. It’s too sterile now. The last major recording I did was done on Pro Tools and the band played live and did minimal overdubs. Those were only adding percussions and little things to add to our tracks. It took us 1 day to record the album and 2 days to produce it then off to master. I was working with incredible musicians and it was the best Recording session I ever had. I run Pro Tools and Logic and refuse to paste. I double my guitar but still play through the entire song.

I Grew up on Ozzy,a little late,but born in 1990,THIS was REAL Rock and Roll ! Ozzy is a God,a Legend ! and long after he has left,we'll have his entire life through his Music. i know this video was posted in 2017,but with "Ordinary Man" here in 2020,I'm back on his music. I can't get enough of Nikki being interviewed or his talk show. I remember Sixx Sense on the radio. Loved Carrie Kasem as well. But, the radio show was distributed to your local classic rock station.
I would have to grit my teeth and listen to classic rock songs you are sick of; thirty minutes of worn out tracks;. just to listen to 4 min. of the talk.

Just to reiterate what others have stated as well, it would be so special to have Mick on an episode , if possible, and if he's up to it. Such an excellent, interesting, and extremely underrated guitar player that we grew up listening to.
