Yaaay Sims! Here's a tip: I don't usually fill up all the space to place an item on a higher shelf. Most of the time I find it easier to just put the counter away for a second and then put it back afterwards - as long as it's not placed specifically with moveobjects. I love using the red shelf cc in my builds to help me move things on shelfs personally. I agree it's harder to do it the way she did in the video. I tend to alt place a lot of decor instead of raising it up, unless it's a ground snapping object only.
You might know already but if not, if you’re trying to clutter a kitchen you can put loads of stuff Onto a counter, pull it out of place and then select the items and hold Alt to place the freely. Hope it helps 😊

And easier way to place things on counters (minus objects that need to be placed on specific objects) is to alt place it without having to raise it up and down. It's easy but can take some practice to place just right. You first with move objects on place the desired items on the counter. Dont worry about the placement. Move your counter tops. You dont have to move all of them but it can help it from snapping to them. Holding the alt key you can move it over to the are where the counter space youd like to place it without having to worry about snapping or floating. Place your counter tops back to check how it looks and repeat moving the counter and alt placing for adjustments. This can be use for just about any surface. Also the only CC in my builds I like to use is the Red Shelf. I dont keep it in the build but I use it to alt place things on shelves and even on top of the microwave using the same method as the counter tops.
As someone who loves ASMR and home building I love that you incorporate the sims and the house flipper game on your channel. However, sometimes I find you move around the screen so much, knowing the games so well and what seems as out of a way of thinking, and so fast that this makes me (not sure if others) suuuper dizzy, which means I can’t watch the video anymore :( just hope you can slow it down a bit because I’d love to support you by watching your videos! 🥰

Love the clicking / typing and the ambient noise when your not talking. One of myFavorite vids. Also love when you take a sip of coffee ☕
