- The final leg of my mission to upload the LEGO Island script: the Brickster's escape from jail, and his plot to deconstruct the entire island. The player, playing as Pepper Roni, is forced to watch as the Brickster steals the helicopter and the Power Brick from atop the Information Center, and then teams up with Nick and Laura Brick in their efforts to capture the Brickster and stop his scheme, by first meeting up with them at the Residential Area (encountering panicking citizens along the way), and then chasing the Brickster as he takes the ambulance and begins deconstructing various buildings. The Brickster throws LEGO pieces at Pepper during the chase, and Nick and Laura determine that they are helicopter pieces. Pepper later searches for the last four (and here is where a bunch of what I'm almost certain are unused clips are thrown in), and eventually all the pieces to the helicopter are found. Pepper then goes to the Police Station, and he and Bill Ding rebuild the helicopter, while the Infomaniac invents the Pizza Turbo Chucker to fire pizzas (courtesy of Papa and Mama) at the Brickster, which will slow him down, along with donuts for Nick and Laura, to speed them up. Soon Pepper is in the air, firing away from his helicopter, as the townspeople cheer him on. Finally, there are two endings: one where everything is destroyed and the Brickster has won, and one where the Brickster is caught and celebration commences, Pepper being the hero of the day.
And that is all for the LEGO Island script. I certainly enjoyed documenting all of this, and again, if anyone knows of certain scenes that I missed, by all means let me know and I can try to find it myself and upload it.

It's fascinating watching these cutscenes not just 20 years later, but also at a much higher framerate than our family computer was capable of when I played this myself.
The bad ending scared me and make wanna cry so much, I think I'm never gonna play as Pepper again.
If you think the ending is bad watch the uncut version.
Just don't let the Brickster loose or just spam the space key to skip the bad ending

The Brickster was just flat out scary when experienced as a kid.

Probably because the police AI is as dumb as a bag of hammers.
Well if you had lured the Brickster into the dead end, specifically the Race Track, then have both Nick & Laura Brick fed with donuts, you would have the chance to catch him into the corner.
this game was the shit, too bad Lego will not bring this game back for the new generation

Bad Ending:
Well is not bad as a looks, well maybe it is, no actually, you can just start again or come back later when you want to, we’ll be able to reconstruct where I think, oh what am I saying? Of course we can! We’re the citizens of LEGO island! So start a new game? Or exit through those doors, and come back when you want to visit again.
Good Ending:
Brilliant! Stupendous! Clickety brick i can't thank you enough, you save us! That's all i have to say about that, you're hero of the day! I can't think of the words to express our thanks enough, accolades upon you, three chairs, hip hip hurray! And no no no no that doesn't express it enough, how about, way to go, and hmm, i know, thanks, okay, well, why not, go see how well you did the score q-ball while i think of something to say or if you'd like to, play another game, you know, open the book, and well you can always come back when you want to, you know, there's the exit door over there, and now- oh where was i, before the world started falling apart, oh i remembered the words to say; thank you, you're a friend.

In the bad ending, when you see the Brickster standing on the Power Brick, you can see the Information Center in the background... with the Power Brick on top of it xD.
First the sign says "PIZZA" then it says "PIZAZ"
It's a way to provide a perspective on how Pepper can't read well. His number and math skills are incredible for that age, mentioning things like circumference meaning he would probably know pi.
Wow! Speaking of 60 FPS, We should probably get ready for 90 to 120FPS in some other games! This is so cool! 😁👍

For some reason Nick saying "Copy on that, Chief." and Laura going "Uh oh." seems to have higher quality than the rest of their dialogue.
The guy being harrassed by a parrot on the roof of the police station in the ambulance mission has higher quality voice lines. I think they forgot to compress those audio files because of how short they are
@@epitomeofoopsEh, some audio (such as Legandos, and the Cave) aren't compressed. They were probably left like that as they weren't taking up *that* much space.
I feel like having a helicopter next to the jail is a bad idea
You know what was scarier and more nightmare inducing than the bad ending? This 13:56 and 14:07. God I hate and love those two at the same time.

'cause I haven't played this game since I was at least 9, and I don't remember the frame rate being this... smooth.
Most likely the Lego island Rebuilder made by MattKC. also likely a better computer than you had when you were 9.
