    I just wanted share my feelings about my Pizza Oven Video series. I spent tons of time building the oven, recording and editing videos but I am very positive that millions of people will watch and benefit from these videos within a year even though as of today only 152 people watch the first video. Let’s see.

    For the foundation, compacted road base 100mm then reinforced mesh, then the concrete- more stable. I bought a house and it had a BBQ built but the foundation was poor and the bbq had a dangerous lean and I demolished it- I'm building a new one, that's why I'm here.

    Hey Daniel, I've wanted to build an outdoor pizza oven for some time. Of all the videos I've watched and articles I've read trying to find out the best dimensions, yours was the most instructional and actually gave me hope that I, too, might be able to make one. There was a quick moment at the beginning of the first video where you showed us the dimensions of your build. I don't know if this is possible, but would there be some way you might be able to make available a more detailed copy of your plans, for people like me who hesitate to start for fear of not getting the physics of the build right. Thanks. Well done, by the way.

    Hey Daniel, how are you? I just subscribed to your Chanel and I’m very impressed by your work. I live in Connecticut and my father and I are looking to start this project to build a pizza oven. I wanted to ask you if you could please share the dimensions and measurements for everything. Do you have a blue print that you could share with measurements? Also, what language is that written in so I can translate? Any information you can give me would be greatly appreciated! Thank you in advance

    I watched your entire build. This is amazing and something I am going to attempt this year using your methods/practice. I had a few questions for you, the first is; what time of year did you do this? How long from start to finish did this take you and was it just you and one other person? Also, regarding exact measurements and amount of supplies, do you think you can provide me with that? Again, this is the best pizza oven I have seen someone build on here. Amazing work and you should be insanely proud.

    • @DanielDemir

      I started in march 2020. It took me about 2 months working a few hours daily. I only remember inside diameter of 48 inc. The rest of the measurements should be in the videos. I spent about $2500 for the materials. I used nearly 300 fire bricks

  • @bigfishpondhome1

    After three years, are the firebricks still holding up well? I have seen where others slapped on a layer of fire mud in the inside and wondered how they got that from cracking and falling in the food at some point. I Like yours, no mud, just the bricks. (AND the breads were out of this world looking too...)
    Any way a person can make their own fire bricks? I saw someone doing that in a different video. I like the larger dome as compared to some that were made like the HOPI Indians use in Arizona, crooked, messy looking and could not be left without a cover like a tarp or a a building over the top. Hmmm no thanks...
    What did you use in between each brick to have an equal separation when at the curves? Were they wood separators or what was the material / product you used to keep it evenly spaced? I am a total armature
    Then you used wooden sticks of some design to hold the dome from falling in. What do they look like? How did you get them to keep from slipping on the floor?
    LOVED this. Want this, just can't afford the fire bricks. LOVE the size and that the smoke stack keeps the air clean too.
    How long does your oven stay warm after firing ?
    Thanks for the inspiration. So many great ideas from your project. Really like using the tiles to finish the dome too. In Missouri! .

    • @MarilynNeville
      @MarilynNeville 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Has the grout for the tiles held up? What about the adhesive for the tiles? Holding up after the weather and the heat from the fires?

    • @DanielDemir
      @DanielDemir  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thanks for your time to watch and comment on this video. So far my oven is doing very well. I didn’t use any spacer, I only used my eyes and hands to make it as good as possible. Fire bricks are not super slippery so it holds the sticks very well. You can try buying the fire bricks from a local brick company. They are about $1.5 each. The worst case scenario is to buy solid red bricks from Home Depot. I mixed clay and Portland cement to create refractory mortar. I hope I answered your questions.
