When you use a marker like a paintbrush, the kind she was using, the fast strokes from the thin tip of the marker make it look like shiney hair. You could probably use a paintbrush too.

Honestly, I've been wanting to do SOMETHING with my bedroom wall for ages, without colouring it as I get bored of colours very fast (I LOVE colours but I keep switching between favourites so we kept returning to white), and this really makes me wanna draw my favourite manga of all time since I was a kid, D.Gray-man, on my wall. This turned out AMAZING!
I was wondering how you would do the screentones and then I remembered that this is japan and screentones aren‘t impossible to find super expensive specialty items like in Europe T___T. Anyways, this looks amazing!
Screentones can also get expensive in Japan. I had to buy some for my manga class a few years ago in Japan. The more different kinds you need, the more expensive it gets. That's why I decided to buy Clip Studio Expert instead.
Now this is a REAL CHALLENGE. A million thumbs up to you!!! This will be a great background for your other video clip too. Please don't let this be the last time we see this wall. This also taught me of how amazing stationaries store in Japan is.

輪郭やそのキャラの中心を決めて円で大きく書き縦横に線を引くと
バランスが取りやすいです
