that corin caesar nicole time was nice. best corin gameplay i've seen. used to hate the ballet twins, and seeing corin just parry that long distance attack they do was so satisfying. just holds up the saw blade and says no to that nonsense.
The Marionette's long attack sequence is very fun to handle, parrying the last hit with Caesar after killing all the clones with Corin feels really satisfying and activates my monkey brain
not only was this video a nice slap in my face of "i got skill issue" but this tells me that i got a lot more to learn and characters to really take time to build properly

To be fair you can't really do this type of fight with Corin unless you have Ceasar because of her long attack animations and Twin Marionettes' rapid attacks.

@Temperance_ I guess it sucks if we're talking about S-rank pairings like Yanagi-Miyabi, since their banners are back-to-back those 2 probably tanked a lot of players' polychrome supply. Even if a Miyabi fan has enough polychromes to pull for both of them, one would have to somehow predict that Yanagi is great for Miyabi. Some Miyabi fans out there are probably regretting not pulling Yanagi while they had the chance 🤔 Corin-Caesar is a very odd example for this tho, since all Corinfans knew on Caesar's release that she is the one they've been waiting for, the one to enable their favorite character. Miyabi, even without Yanagi is still a great character, and lots of alternatives teams are available for her, same goes to Yanagi. Corin on the other hand is peepeepoopoo garbage on release, the kind of character that would make you go "I guess there's a reason why she's free" 💀 I'm sure Corinfans back in the day are aware that Corin NEEDS Caesar to be usable, and if they skip, they're in for an another long wait. I'm glad Corin is the only example this extreme dependency where a DPS character literally requires another character to be able to simply use their kit. I'm of the opinion that Corinfans who skipped Caesar deserve to suffer in low Corin performance, but I sure hope this Corin-Caesar design tragedy won't happen again.🫠 I still feel sorry for new Corinfans tho, but I guess it's cool that they get to experience the limbo of suffering that is Caesarless Corin until Caesar rerun, just like me and other early Corinfans did 🤪

I like the way you play corrin utilizing the stun window using an ult and activate the chain atck again and proc assist with nicole while she maintain the maximum possible def shred to enemy truly make a mind opening for me on how i can utilize more of these units
True and also nice decible management cause sometimes I forgot to switch member and focused on one ie stunner if I'm playing an atker as my DPS and when the stunt window came i didn't do much damage to them, really one of your most highlated run in what I see in your video keep it up
wohoo thanks the stage buff I use for Corin's team provides extra decibel generation, so it's much easier rotating ult in this mode than usual gameplay 🧐

My Piper stats aren't anything special man haha, only her core is properly levelled just get a disc with anomaly proficiency substat and pray all the rolls go there 🤯 wish you luck

Awesome clear! Miyabi carried my underleveled units, while my whacky stats ether team somehow managed to 3* the twins, but i'm struggling to 3* pompei (i used Caesar, Lucy, Piper) and here you are clearing the boss with only 2 of them. I need to keep trying, i guess.

Caesar is good to have so Piper doesn't have to dodge so much, but total dmg probably won't change too drastically with Burnice they can probably kill pompey for max score 🙃🔥

who's michelle lol but yea anomaly is looking good currently, I guess it's just to be expected since most characters released recently are anomaly characters, the stage mechanics also often boosts anomaly characters more than attack characters so it's just the way it is. No need to follow the meta though, as long as content is cleared then it works 👍
I’m trying to clear Marionette with Harumasa. I got good at the playstyle, maximized his build, even have rewatched the same guide multiple times… but still can’t get higher than B rank… Then I look on TH-cam and immediately see Billy and Corin, the two characters I’ve neglected, work as the perfect counter against that boss-

No way man, something is horribly wrong with your Haru 🤔🤔🤔 I can't comment because I can't see your setup but you should try to figure out if something doesn't make sense with your discs setup or gameplay strat 🧐🧐 You say "rewatched the same guide multiple times", this is the worst idea ever. I'm not gonna sugarcoat it, so brace for impact, wall of text incoming. *Most guides out there are trash, especially the popular ones* Think about it this way: 1) Haru is announced and "oh shit, he's free?" Everyone is now hyped, even non-Harufans. 2) Haru fans start preparing a warm welcome for their new Agent, they know from the announcement that Haru is an Attack-type Shock Agent, so they start farming the appropriate materials for levels and/or grinding discs for Haru.🤑 3) Eventually, most Haru fans are done pre-farming. Now they wonder about 1 thing: "How to play Haru?" The best info available at this time are just wonky leaks from who-knows-where, it would be dumb to rely on such an unreliable information, so wait they shall. 4) It is finally Haru's release date. But wait, gotta download the update first. Alright, no big deal. They waited for an entire month already, a few minutes of download time is nothing, so wait they shall. 4.1) But just waiting is boring, so they decide to surf around TH-cam, what's that on recommended? A guide video on Harumasa. Already? They see the channel is of respectably size. "Hmm this guy must have played immediately when the server got up," they thought. Let's see what this guy has to say on Haru (big mistake). 4.2) The video is playing, but they didn't really pay much attention to it. They simply let the video play on the background while they do something else more productive, they're only waiting for download after all. Little did they know, they're already in on the scam. 5) Download is finished, finally it's time to play. It took them quite a while, multiple days, maybe even weeks, but they finally finished the update. "Some parts felt slow, but overall it was quite the enjoyable experience", they thought. Now it's time for some real gaming.😎 6) It's endgame time. Obviously, they wanna see some Asaba Harumasa action. "But how do I play him?" The trial stage only explained the basics as usual, so that wasn't very helpful. So they searched his name on TH-cam, there they found the video that they watched before. The video even got 10 times more views? "I guess the video was pretty good", they thought, as they clicked the video again. Last time, they didn't pay attention. This time, they're trying to follow the guide. Little did they know, they're being played for fools.🤡 6.1) The video was easy to follow, with clear instructions and seemingly high production quality. Ok, it's time to put what you learned into practice. They start practicing and eventually enters the end-game content with Haru. 6.2) But something's strange, it's not working. Not only it doesn't work, it doesn't even come close. "Maybe I'm doing something wrong", they thought as they return to the guide video they referenced. Unfortunately, they couldn't figure out what's wrong with their Haru setup. "I'm using the recommended team. My discs can be better, but it's nice. I'm understand and follow recommended strats. so why can't I clear the new endgame? 🤔", They thought about asking a question in the comments, but seeing as only a few of the comments got replied, they understandably decided not to, "even if I asked, I probably won't get an answer". 6.3) But they still need an answer as to why they can't clear the new endgame with Haru. "My discs aren't good enough", "Maybe I need to switch a team member", they come up with various answers, but all are pointless because the answers the come up with are based on wrong information. The most unfortunate answer one could come up with in this situation would be "Maybe I should get more duplicates", as they pulled for more when they really didn't have to. 7) The player who duped Haru for power now snaps back to reality, filled with regret. "Come to think of it, why did I pull for a dupe to clear this content? Pulling a dupe costed me 80 rolls, but clearing this stage rewarded me with a measly 5 rolls. It's gonna take 16 months for my investment to break even." Anyway storytime over (I put way too much thought into this reply wtf)🤪 Harumasa especially is on the extreme end regarding this poor quality guides issue since he's free, very popular, but very complex, making the issue worse than ever. So my tip for you is *NEVER WATCH A GUIDE VIDEO EVER AGAIN*. You say you're "good at Haru's playstyle and maximized his build", but I think *you're just tricked into thinking so*. From now on, only watch videos with results that you can directly confirm, like a video showcasing the character you're looking for clearing real endgame content that is close to what you have (duplicates, engines, characters, stuff like those). Did the guide video you watched multiple times had a part where they showcase Haru clearing something challenging? Maybe Shiyu 7? I'm willing to bet it doesn't, because if the TH-camr tried to, they'd realize the build fucking sucks and have to redo the video.🙃 Unfortunately, people who upload good showcase videos usually don't talk or explain what's happening in the video, so you have to figure out what's happening by just watching, which can be quite difficult. Fortunately, these kinds of channels are usually relatively small in size, which means if you ask in the comments, chances are you'll get a reply. As you learn from people with actual results, you'll start to understand things that are completely missed by these guidemakers who only care about getting a video out as soon as possible 😤 To make things easy for you, check this guy out for some spicy Haru strats www.youtube.com/@yoji__/videos , the latest video there showcases Haru killing a shiyu boss in a single stun, the boss doesn't even have shock weakness. The team used is pretty ideal though, so maybe you won't be able to replicate perfectly. But even if you can only manage to output half the showcase's dps, I'd say that's still some pretty nice damage, plenty for ★3 in Deadly Assault. Have faith in Harumasa, he's capable of way more than what you're lettting him (also sorry to subjecting you to this autistic wall of text lmao)

oh fuckk mobile gamer 😩 I guess my concerns are quite misplaced lol I just realized the manual chain attack update is a sad moment for mobile gamers tho, like bruh devs literally forgot they're supposed to design mobile games to be played with 2 thumbs, like what are people supposed to hold the skill button with their index finger while their thumb on the same hand press everything else? 💀💀 Anyway I just checked Muzzy's video and his stun sequence looks pretty scuffed. The general idea when Rina/Nicole is in the team is that You want their debuffs to stay for the entire stun duration. When the debuffs run out, you want Haru to perform a somewhat long attack animation (his EX) and swap immediately to Rina/Nicole to do their thing and then back to Haru with quick assist. This is like the basic of basics, everyone that uses Rina/Nicole you'll see they do this when stun happens. If you can't figure a good Haru sequence for mobile, at least you need to get the basics right. What's the point of using a debuffer if their debuff only exists for 1/3 of the stun time? We can't be missing out on that I don't know how to swap from position 1 (Haru) to position 3 (Rina/Nicole) on mobile, but if there's no button for that maybe doubletapping the swap button works? It's definitely slower tho 🤔 Yoji also has a 13 dash sequence with Auto chain attack so maybe you can try if that works for you Good luck mobile Proxy, stay strong 💪

Yea sometimes putting a 3rd character in is worse than just using 2 characters This game is very focused on synergy so we can't just put a character in to "fill a slot"
Actually there's a enable/disable feature to switch your character forward or backward so you won't really having a hard time to find the character you wanted to use In my case, I'm playing at mobile and sweats so much and that feature even messes up my rotation even more. Could be better at anything other than mobile ig
@@ranputeras596 The issue is with the chain attack, not with swapping around. Having 2 characters allows you to use the Bangboo's chain attack, building a chunk of anomaly. In Bringer and Pompey fight, disorder is consistently triggered during stun thanks to the help of Bangboo, especially in Soukaku's case. If I'm using a 3rd character, that character better be worth the loss of Bangboo since using all the chain attacks in order is very often a waste of time. If that character makes your chain attack sequence scuffed as hell, then it's better to just have no one there.

Soukaku spin is only to build more anomaly because she's the only one to proc disorder in the vid lol Normally there's a 3rd member on the party for disorder so you don't need her to spin
Really impressive Corin clear! I had a small gameplay question. I usually try to get a basic canceled into ex special canceled into ult to try to quickly get the 4pc woodpecker buff for the ult. Do you find that generally wastes too much stun time as opposed to just ulting? P.S.: I see in your other videos you opt for Nicole over Lucy in the third slot. Is Nicole generally better than M6 Lucy with Corin/Caesar?
This sequence is just the sequence I've been doing since forever haha I guess since decibels are separated now we can have a new stun sequence 🤔 Nicole's The Vault (engine) debuff expires 2s after the last hit. If you do Corin's ult (cancelled from quick assist) off of Nicole's chain attack, The Vault's debuff expires on the last hit of Corin's ult, there's no time to do anything else. If we want to do Corin's EX before ulting, I guess we can do something like Nicole EX (stun triggers) > Corin chain attack > Nicole chain attack (chain attack deny) > Nicole ult > Corin EX > Nicole EX > Corin ult, seems like a good idea 🤔 at least for this stage there should be no issue getting decibels for Nicole thanks to the stage buff As for Lucy/Nicole, Nicole used to be better in all scenarios, but since Lucy is the better user of the Astra set, I'm not really sure anymore, maybe high investment Lucy is better than Nicole in single target scenario, just maybe though In Shiyu however, Nicole is always better because she speeds up mob clearing dramatically lol. Regardless, the difference in a single target scenario is probably not that big so just use whoever is available 🤔

Hmm I guess just keep in mind that HP is just another resource Against bosses like Bringer, Soukaku getting hit isn't a big deal since the boss will never kill Soukaku due to being easily stunlocked and susceptible to being frozen, so just attack away. If you're using Soukaku on something like Pompey who can actually kill Soukaku, might want to make some adjustments. First of all, don't use her spinning attack (the one you can do after she stabs her flag to the ground), Soukaku has superarmor and damage reduction during the entire animation of her skill, but her spinning attack doesn't have that property so you should avoid doing it if you're afraid of dying. You can also dodge before doing quick assist, this makes Soukaku only vulnerable after the first swing of EX skill and before the flag touches the ground, doing this means you lose out on her ice anomaly buildup, but if Soukaku is dying you kinda don't have another choice Astra being good or not depends on your gameplan. If you're rotating your members and perform quick assist often, then Astra is a must. If you don't rotate your members then Swing Jazz is better. Soukaku and Seth are currently the easiest user of Astra set because they're the only characters who can trigger quick assist for the DPS character without using energy. If you're extra sweaty, you can force Astra into a stun and burst team (most teams focused on Attack-type agents) by stacking quick assists via getting knocked away, letting you have full Astra stacks when the boss is stunned.
nah man surely there's a setup for him to kill the arms, I don't play harumasa tho so I can't help with that haha If you can't kill the arm no matter what then I guess he has to go to another boss, the attack sequence after the arm survive is a huge time waste

Congrats, I was capable of replicating some of the glory of doing a 20k Piper clear on Pompey, but I used a different setup, my drive disks aren't nearly as strong and I don't have every spell max on Lucy so I ran Ben Bigger with Swing Jazz just for the stun chain attack and the random shield pretty much and it was enough. Happy 😎 🪓 🐽 🐻
Boss is weak to fire which allows Lucy build fire anomaly faster than usual, enabling her as disorder source If this is Shiyu, disordering with Lucy won't be a big deal, only a very small bonus. However, in this mode you can pick a buff that increases disorder dmg and a big buff for anomaly dmg when disorder happens, which makes this Lucy disorder gimmick actually good

I really like the idea of this gamemode, but my account is to weak right now to get good scores (14k in 2 stages and cant do the last because I lack a team) but im now building a team For harumasa, ones thats done ill try making my current teams stronger so that i can clean all of it
I was surprised at the composition of the team. (Because we are too aware of buffs of the same attribute) When you put together a team, where do you base it on? (Strength of individual characters, composition of enemies, etc.)
1. Pick a DPS character to use 2. Think about what does that character need help with 3. Pick character(s) that can help (if no help needed just pick anyone that can increase damage output) 4. Consider the enemy and stage gimmick 5. Revise build/team member if necessary to better match the enemy/abuse stage gimmick 6. Try playing 7. Find out the strat doesn't perform as well as expected 8. Try again some more to find out what's wrong 9. Figure out what's wrong/lacking 10. Think about what to do to fix the problem 11a. If tweaking the gameplay can be a solution, go back to 6. 11b. If the team setup needs to be changed, go back to 5. repeat until win, or give up and ask friends for advice (I have no friends) 🤡
🤔🤔 nekomata and caesar a very good match but I don't think Piper can be a good 3rd member there well if you're using Piper already maybe you can try Piper-Lucy like in the video and let neko-caesar go to another boss 🍻
Corin as DPS, very simple Caesar is the shielder, stunner, gives ATK buff and dmg increase debuff to the enemy, she also activates Corin's team passive Nicole for def reduction and dmg increase debuff The general gameplan is to hit the boss until she's 90%-ish stunned, then use Nicole's ult to stagger the boss, doubleswap to Caesar and ult the boss from behind (I want to stun the boss from behind because Corin is using Neko's signature engine which gives dmg bonus when hitting from behind). Damage before stun doesn't matter much because most of the damage happens during stun, so I try to kill the clones whenever they're within reach, which gave me the max performance points of 5000 👍

Welcome back man 🎉 Lucy is having a hard time proccing burn by herself since she's not an anomaly character, so rocketboo kinda helps with that Any bangboo that builds Fire anomaly is usable there 👍
Uncharged Lucy EX skill doesn't track (it can only go straight) so she'll often whiff it against Pompey if you don't hold. If you hold it, the pig will continue to track the enemy until it hits, so it'll never miss Uncharged is more optimal, but there's a risk of whiffing 🧐
Regarding the Astral Voice set, it's easier to keep the buff from it with Lighter, correct? He has a built-in quick assist. So 1 QA from Support to DPS and another 1 QA from DPS to Lighter. I've never really thought about it omg. I am currently playing Miyabi hypercarry with Lighter and Lucy and this gave me an idea.
idk what you're talking about but it probably is 🤔 since I didn't add any video editing effects The footage you're seeing in the video that's not in its lowest setting are the resolution of 1080p, fps of 60 and rendering scale of 1x. If I'm not recording I would bring those down to 720p, 30fps and 0.8x scale so literally everything as low as possible lol

She's pretty strong by herself so even without her signature engine you should be able to get 20k here or clear shiyu easily If you want it for the style though...
Can I ask why you're using atk/ice dmg/anomaly mastery on soukaku? I'd have thought that crit/atk/anomaly mastery would be better, since it would give you bigger crits while keeping the atk buff and the anomaly application from the mastery
No reason, those are just the best ones I got lol The Astra set is new and I already spent my crafting resources for Miyabi, so I just make do with what I got 😂 the 6th slot has absolute garbage substats but I level it anyway because that's the only Anomaly Mastery on Astra that I have No need to fret over Soukaku's gear anyway, since all Soukaku does is just skill and swap out immediately so 99% of the damage comes from Miyabi

I just got past the final ascension so Im not quite strong enough to do this yet So far my most invested characters are Haru, Miyabi, Lighter, Lucy, Piper, Rina and Billy. Hopefully I'll be able to clear once I've got everyone built up decently. If you can clear with Corin, do you think I could clear using Billy? Hes m4 and on his sig. I love him lots and wanna use him!

Pompey resists electric so Harumasa can't go there, which means Miyabi will have to hit Pompey (Miyabi Lighter Lucy maybe? idk) Haru is left to hit Bringer now with Rina and maybe 1 other guy 🤔Not really sure who can fill the 3rd slot, Piper doesn't make sense here and Anby is already at Billy's, maybe just duo with Rina 🤔 No need to worry though, since Miyabi will probably get ★3 clear lol so Haru will only have to get ★1 There's still quite some time before event ends so good luck 🍻
Hmm both come with pros and cons, Haru basically wants the enemy to be stunned so you can do his big damage stun sequence, but he also wants the target to be shocked too because he gains buffs from it. The ideal pick here would be Anby or Qingyi (for those who have her) simply because they're a shock-type stunner agent. Compared to them: - If you pick Grace, you'll have an easier time proccing shock, but stun will be very slow -If you pick Lycaon, you'll have an easier time stunning, but your shock uptime will suffer If I HAVE to pick, I guess Lycaon is the better option🤔 Because we don't really need shock to proc all the time, we just need it to proc when the target is stunned (when most of Haru's damage happens). You can build shock anomaly with Haru/Rina (you must give Rina Anomaly% disc 6) until it almost procs, then swap to Lycaon and continue hitting with him until the enemy is stunned. This way you can shock the target immediately when it gets stunned. Keep in mind that both Lycaon and Grace has minimal synergy with Haru so you should keep your investment in them minimal, whichever one you decide to raise

Astra set is better for Lucy, she has an easy time maintaining the buff, just make sure you give her energy gain% engine or disc6 (or both) 👍 As for why, Astra just gives more damage bonus and it's active all the time, instead of Swing Jazz which gives less damage bonus and only during stun time. If I give my Miyabi a crate disk4, she'll go over 80% crate which is kinda waste. Also, Miyabi-Soukaku is not a disorder focused team, so increasing Miyabi's anomaly buildup rate via her crate isn't that important, since I'd end up waiting for Soukaku to proc disorder anyway. Though if I'm using her in a disorder team with Burnice for example, I'd probably choose to go over 80% crate 🤔
@vaynep nvm I finally did it with anomaly Lighter. I heard people say anomaly Lighter with Miyabi is underwhelming so I never actually built him that way but hey it got me 3 stars with Piper so I'll take it 😃

that corin caesar nicole time was nice. best corin gameplay i've seen. used to hate the ballet twins, and seeing corin just parry that long distance attack they do was so satisfying. just holds up the saw blade and says no to that nonsense.
The Marionette's long attack sequence is very fun to handle, parrying the last hit with Caesar after killing all the clones with Corin feels really satisfying and activates my monkey brain

To be fair you can't really do this type of fight with Corin unless you have Ceasar because of her long attack animations and Twin Marionettes' rapid attacks.

@Temperance_ I guess it sucks if we're talking about S-rank pairings like Yanagi-Miyabi, since their banners are back-to-back those 2 probably tanked a lot of players' polychrome supply. Even if a Miyabi fan has enough polychromes to pull for both of them, one would have to somehow predict that Yanagi is great for Miyabi. Some Miyabi fans out there are probably regretting not pulling Yanagi while they had the chance 🤔
Corin-Caesar is a very odd example for this tho, since all Corinfans knew on Caesar's release that she is the one they've been waiting for, the one to enable their favorite character.
Miyabi, even without Yanagi is still a great character, and lots of alternatives teams are available for her, same goes to Yanagi. Corin on the other hand is peepeepoopoo garbage on release, the kind of character that would make you go "I guess there's a reason why she's free" 💀
I'm sure Corinfans back in the day are aware that Corin NEEDS Caesar to be usable, and if they skip, they're in for an another long wait. I'm glad Corin is the only example this extreme dependency where a DPS character literally requires another character to be able to simply use their kit. I'm of the opinion that Corinfans who skipped Caesar deserve to suffer in low Corin performance, but I sure hope this Corin-Caesar design tragedy won't happen again.🫠
I still feel sorry for new Corinfans tho, but I guess it's cool that they get to experience the limbo of suffering that is Caesarless Corin until Caesar rerun, just like me and other early Corinfans did 🤪

the stage buff I use for Corin's team provides extra decibel generation, so it's much easier rotating ult in this mode than usual gameplay 🧐

I’m trying to clear Marionette with Harumasa. I got good at the playstyle, maximized his build, even have rewatched the same guide multiple times… but still can’t get higher than B rank… Then I look on TH-cam and immediately see Billy and Corin, the two characters I’ve neglected, work as the perfect counter against that boss-
(Harumasa will be referred to as Haru for ease of typing)
Maximized build + good playstyle = B rank??? No way man, something is horribly wrong with your Haru 🤔🤔🤔 I can't comment because I can't see your setup but you should try to figure out if something doesn't make sense with your discs setup or gameplay strat 🧐🧐
You say "rewatched the same guide multiple times", this is the worst idea ever. I'm not gonna sugarcoat it, so brace for impact, wall of text incoming.
*Most guides out there are trash, especially the popular ones*
Think about it this way:
1) Haru is announced and "oh shit, he's free?" Everyone is now hyped, even non-Harufans.
2) Haru fans start preparing a warm welcome for their new Agent, they know from the announcement that Haru is an Attack-type Shock Agent, so they start farming the appropriate materials for levels and/or grinding discs for Haru.🤑
3) Eventually, most Haru fans are done pre-farming. Now they wonder about 1 thing: "How to play Haru?" The best info available at this time are just wonky leaks from who-knows-where, it would be dumb to rely on such an unreliable information, so wait they shall.
4) It is finally Haru's release date. But wait, gotta download the update first. Alright, no big deal. They waited for an entire month already, a few minutes of download time is nothing, so wait they shall.
4.1) But just waiting is boring, so they decide to surf around TH-cam, what's that on recommended? A guide video on Harumasa. Already? They see the channel is of respectably size. "Hmm this guy must have played immediately when the server got up," they thought. Let's see what this guy has to say on Haru (big mistake).
4.2) The video is playing, but they didn't really pay much attention to it. They simply let the video play on the background while they do something else more productive, they're only waiting for download after all. Little did they know, they're already in on the scam.
5) Download is finished, finally it's time to play. It took them quite a while, multiple days, maybe even weeks, but they finally finished the update. "Some parts felt slow, but overall it was quite the enjoyable experience", they thought. Now it's time for some real gaming.😎
6) It's endgame time. Obviously, they wanna see some Asaba Harumasa action. "But how do I play him?" The trial stage only explained the basics as usual, so that wasn't very helpful. So they searched his name on TH-cam, there they found the video that they watched before. The video even got 10 times more views? "I guess the video was pretty good", they thought, as they clicked the video again. Last time, they didn't pay attention. This time, they're trying to follow the guide. Little did they know, they're being played for fools.🤡
6.1) The video was easy to follow, with clear instructions and seemingly high production quality. Ok, it's time to put what you learned into practice. They start practicing and eventually enters the end-game content with Haru.
6.2) But something's strange, it's not working. Not only it doesn't work, it doesn't even come close. "Maybe I'm doing something wrong", they thought as they return to the guide video they referenced. Unfortunately, they couldn't figure out what's wrong with their Haru setup. "I'm using the recommended team. My discs can be better, but it's nice. I'm understand and follow recommended strats. so why can't I clear the new endgame? 🤔", They thought about asking a question in the comments, but seeing as only a few of the comments got replied, they understandably decided not to, "even if I asked, I probably won't get an answer".
6.3) But they still need an answer as to why they can't clear the new endgame with Haru. "My discs aren't good enough", "Maybe I need to switch a team member", they come up with various answers, but all are pointless because the answers the come up with are based on wrong information. The most unfortunate answer one could come up with in this situation would be "Maybe I should get more duplicates", as they pulled for more when they really didn't have to.
7) The player who duped Haru for power now snaps back to reality, filled with regret. "Come to think of it, why did I pull for a dupe to clear this content? Pulling a dupe costed me 80 rolls, but clearing this stage rewarded me with a measly 5 rolls. It's gonna take 16 months for my investment to break even."
Anyway storytime over (I put way too much thought into this reply wtf)🤪
Harumasa especially is on the extreme end regarding this poor quality guides issue since he's free, very popular, but very complex, making the issue worse than ever. So my tip for you is *NEVER WATCH A GUIDE VIDEO EVER AGAIN*. You say you're "good at Haru's playstyle and maximized his build", but I think *you're just tricked into thinking so*. From now on, only watch videos with results that you can directly confirm, like a video showcasing the character you're looking for clearing real endgame content that is close to what you have (duplicates, engines, characters, stuff like those). Did the guide video you watched multiple times had a part where they showcase Haru clearing something challenging? Maybe Shiyu 7? I'm willing to bet it doesn't, because if the TH-camr tried to, they'd realize the build fucking sucks and have to redo the video.🙃
Unfortunately, people who upload good showcase videos usually don't talk or explain what's happening in the video, so you have to figure out what's happening by just watching, which can be quite difficult. Fortunately, these kinds of channels are usually relatively small in size, which means if you ask in the comments, chances are you'll get a reply. As you learn from people with actual results, you'll start to understand things that are completely missed by these guidemakers who only care about getting a video out as soon as possible 😤
To make things easy for you, check this guy out for some spicy Haru strats www.youtube.com/@yoji__/videos , the latest video there showcases Haru killing a shiyu boss in a single stun, the boss doesn't even have shock weakness. The team used is pretty ideal though, so maybe you won't be able to replicate perfectly. But even if you can only manage to output half the showcase's dps, I'd say that's still some pretty nice damage, plenty for ★3 in Deadly Assault.
Have faith in Harumasa, he's capable of way more than what you're lettting him

I just realized the manual chain attack update is a sad moment for mobile gamers tho, like bruh devs literally forgot they're supposed to design mobile games to be played with 2 thumbs, like what are people supposed to hold the skill button with their index finger while their thumb on the same hand press everything else? 💀💀
Anyway I just checked Muzzy's video and his stun sequence looks pretty scuffed. The general idea when Rina/Nicole is in the team is that You want their debuffs to stay for the entire stun duration. When the debuffs run out, you want Haru to perform a somewhat long attack animation (his EX) and swap immediately to Rina/Nicole to do their thing and then back to Haru with quick assist. This is like the basic of basics, everyone that uses Rina/Nicole you'll see they do this when stun happens. If you can't figure a good Haru sequence for mobile, at least you need to get the basics right. What's the point of using a debuffer if their debuff only exists for 1/3 of the stun time? We can't be missing out on that
I don't know how to swap from position 1 (Haru) to position 3 (Rina/Nicole) on mobile, but if there's no button for that maybe doubletapping the swap button works? It's definitely slower tho 🤔
Yoji also has a 13 dash sequence with Auto chain attack so maybe you can try if that works for you

Actually there's a enable/disable feature to switch your character forward or backward so you won't really having a hard time to find the character you wanted to use
In my case, I'm playing at mobile and sweats so much and that feature even messes up my rotation even more. Could be better at anything other than mobile ig
@@ranputeras596 The issue is with the chain attack, not with swapping around.
Having 2 characters allows you to use the Bangboo's chain attack, building a chunk of anomaly. In Bringer and Pompey fight, disorder is consistently triggered during stun thanks to the help of Bangboo, especially in Soukaku's case.
If I'm using a 3rd character, that character better be worth the loss of Bangboo since using all the chain attacks in order is very often a waste of time. If that character makes your chain attack sequence scuffed as hell, then it's better to just have no one there.

P.S.: I see in your other videos you opt for Nicole over Lucy in the third slot. Is Nicole generally better than M6 Lucy with Corin/Caesar?
This sequence is just the sequence I've been doing since forever haha I guess since decibels are separated now we can have a new stun sequence 🤔
Nicole's The Vault (engine) debuff expires 2s after the last hit. If you do Corin's ult (cancelled from quick assist) off of Nicole's chain attack, The Vault's debuff expires on the last hit of Corin's ult, there's no time to do anything else.
If we want to do Corin's EX before ulting, I guess we can do something like Nicole EX (stun triggers) > Corin chain attack > Nicole chain attack (chain attack deny) > Nicole ult > Corin EX > Nicole EX > Corin ult, seems like a good idea 🤔 at least for this stage there should be no issue getting decibels for Nicole thanks to the stage buff
As for Lucy/Nicole, Nicole used to be better in all scenarios, but since Lucy is the better user of the Astra set, I'm not really sure anymore, maybe high investment Lucy is better than Nicole in single target scenario, just maybe though
In Shiyu however, Nicole is always better because she speeds up mob clearing dramatically lol. Regardless, the difference in a single target scenario is probably not that big so just use whoever is available 🤔

Hmm I guess just keep in mind that HP is just another resource
Against bosses like Bringer, Soukaku getting hit isn't a big deal since the boss will never kill Soukaku due to being easily stunlocked and susceptible to being frozen, so just attack away.
If you're using Soukaku on something like Pompey who can actually kill Soukaku, might want to make some adjustments. First of all, don't use her spinning attack (the one you can do after she stabs her flag to the ground), Soukaku has superarmor and damage reduction during the entire animation of her skill, but her spinning attack doesn't have that property so you should avoid doing it if you're afraid of dying. You can also dodge before doing quick assist, this makes Soukaku only vulnerable after the first swing of EX skill and before the flag touches the ground, doing this means you lose out on her ice anomaly buildup, but if Soukaku is dying you kinda don't have another choice
Astra being good or not depends on your gameplan. If you're rotating your members and perform quick assist often, then Astra is a must. If you don't rotate your members then Swing Jazz is better. Soukaku and Seth are currently the easiest user of Astra set because they're the only characters who can trigger quick assist for the DPS character without using energy. If you're extra sweaty, you can force Astra into a stun and burst team (most teams focused on Attack-type agents) by stacking quick assists via getting knocked away, letting you have full Astra stacks when the boss is stunned.

Congrats, I was capable of replicating some of the glory of doing a 20k Piper clear on Pompey, but I used a different setup, my drive disks aren't nearly as strong and I don't have every spell max on Lucy so I ran Ben Bigger with Swing Jazz just for the stun chain attack and the random shield pretty much and it was enough. Happy 😎 🪓 🐽 🐻

Boss is weak to fire which allows Lucy build fire anomaly faster than usual, enabling her as disorder source
If this is Shiyu, disordering with Lucy won't be a big deal, only a very small bonus. However, in this mode you can pick a buff that increases disorder dmg and a big buff for anomaly dmg when disorder happens, which makes this Lucy disorder gimmick actually good

Im not even gonna bother with bringer until i get miyabi some disk drives.(Really slow due to really bad rng) But pompey is giving me grief with piper lucy and koleda. But i just got lucy to m6 so maybe that'll help
Lucy M6 is a big change, definitely try again 👍 make sure to watch the fire buildup from her M6 so you don't waste too much fire buildup

I really like the idea of this gamemode, but my account is to weak right now to get good scores (14k in 2 stages and cant do the last because I lack a team) but im now building a team For harumasa, ones thats done ill try making my current teams stronger so that i can clean all of it

I was surprised at the composition of the team. (Because we are too aware of buffs of the same attribute)
When you put together a team, where do you base it on? (Strength of individual characters, composition of enemies, etc.)
1. Pick a DPS character to use
2. Think about what does that character need help with
3. Pick character(s) that can help (if no help needed just pick anyone that can increase damage output)
4. Consider the enemy and stage gimmick
5. Revise build/team member if necessary to better match the enemy/abuse stage gimmick
6. Try playing
7. Find out the strat doesn't perform as well as expected
8. Try again some more to find out what's wrong
9. Figure out what's wrong/lacking
10. Think about what to do to fix the problem
11a. If tweaking the gameplay can be a solution, go back to 6.
11b. If the team setup needs to be changed, go back to 5.
repeat until win, or give up and ask friends for advice (I have no friends) 🤡

I know im watching the gameplay, but id like to know the thought process behind how the corin team operates.
Corin as DPS, very simple
Caesar is the shielder, stunner, gives ATK buff and dmg increase debuff to the enemy, she also activates Corin's team passive
Nicole for def reduction and dmg increase debuff
The general gameplan is to hit the boss until she's 90%-ish stunned, then use Nicole's ult to stagger the boss, doubleswap to Caesar and ult the boss from behind (I want to stun the boss from behind because Corin is using Neko's signature engine which gives dmg bonus when hitting from behind).
Damage before stun doesn't matter much because most of the damage happens during stun, so I try to kill the clones whenever they're within reach, which gave me the max performance points of 5000 👍

Lucy is having a hard time proccing burn by herself since she's not an anomaly character, so rocketboo kinda helps with that
Any bangboo that builds Fire anomaly is usable there 👍
Is it worth holding the special for Lucy instead of just launching it instantly? I stopped holding the special as it just takes a lot of time
Uncharged Lucy EX skill doesn't track (it can only go straight) so she'll often whiff it against Pompey if you don't hold. If you hold it, the pig will continue to track the enemy until it hits, so it'll never miss
Uncharged is more optimal, but there's a risk of whiffing 🧐
Regarding the Astral Voice set, it's easier to keep the buff from it with Lighter, correct? He has a built-in quick assist. So 1 QA from Support to DPS and another 1 QA from DPS to Lighter. I've never really thought about it omg. I am currently playing Miyabi hypercarry with Lighter and Lucy and this gave me an idea.

idk what you're talking about but it probably is 🤔 since I didn't add any video editing effects
The footage you're seeing in the video that's not in its lowest setting are the resolution of 1080p, fps of 60 and rendering scale of 1x. If I'm not recording I would bring those down to 720p, 30fps and 0.8x scale so literally everything as low as possible lol
@ Okay, so it must be some sort of shading effect, thank you! Basically, my VFX (slashes, lightning, etc) look less cartoony than yours and I’ve been trying to figure out why that is, but it’s probably just an emergeny property.

Can I ask why you're using atk/ice dmg/anomaly mastery on soukaku? I'd have thought that crit/atk/anomaly mastery would be better, since it would give you bigger crits while keeping the atk buff and the anomaly application from the mastery
No reason, those are just the best ones I got lol
The Astra set is new and I already spent my crafting resources for Miyabi, so I just make do with what I got 😂 the 6th slot has absolute garbage substats but I level it anyway because that's the only Anomaly Mastery on Astra that I have
No need to fret over Soukaku's gear anyway, since all Soukaku does is just skill and swap out immediately so 99% of the damage comes from Miyabi
May I ask on why are you using Penguinboo instead of Sharkboo?

I just got past the final ascension so Im not quite strong enough to do this yet
So far my most invested characters are Haru, Miyabi, Lighter, Lucy, Piper, Rina and Billy. Hopefully I'll be able to clear once I've got everyone built up decently.

It really depends on how much investment you got in him 🤔

Hmm both come with pros and cons, Haru basically wants the enemy to be stunned so you can do his big damage stun sequence, but he also wants the target to be shocked too because he gains buffs from it. The ideal pick here would be Anby or Qingyi (for those who have her) simply because they're a shock-type stunner agent. Compared to them:
- If you pick Grace, you'll have an easier time proccing shock, but stun will be very slow
-If you pick Lycaon, you'll have an easier time stunning, but your shock uptime will suffer
If I HAVE to pick, I guess Lycaon is the better option🤔
Because we don't really need shock to proc all the time, we just need it to proc when the target is stunned (when most of Haru's damage happens). You can build shock anomaly with Haru/Rina (you must give Rina Anomaly% disc 6) until it almost procs, then swap to Lycaon and continue hitting with him until the enemy is stunned. This way you can shock the target immediately when it gets stunned.
Keep in mind that both Lycaon and Grace has minimal synergy with Haru so you should keep your investment in them minimal, whichever one you decide to raise

Astra set is better for Lucy, she has an easy time maintaining the buff, just make sure you give her energy gain% engine or disc6 (or both) 👍
As for why, Astra just gives more damage bonus and it's active all the time, instead of Swing Jazz which gives less damage bonus and only during stun time.
If I give my Miyabi a crate disk4, she'll go over 80% crate which is kinda waste. Also, Miyabi-Soukaku is not a disorder focused team, so increasing Miyabi's anomaly buildup rate via her crate isn't that important, since I'd end up waiting for Soukaku to proc disorder anyway.
Though if I'm using her in a disorder team with Burnice for example, I'd probably choose to go over 80% crate 🤔

@vaynep nvm I finally did it with anomaly Lighter. I heard people say anomaly Lighter with Miyabi is underwhelming so I never actually built him that way but hey it got me 3 stars with Piper so I'll take it 😃
