YOU are amazing with your Selmer Reference, i am watching all your covers and enjoy everything a great deal! On Careless Whispers you are way better than Steve Gregory, congratulations!
That was simply awesome! I could listen to that a hundred times over. Always loved the sound of the Sax but never took it up myself. Big regret. Thanks for this version I love it 🌝
@@rickyhunt4075 it was a good time! We had lots of laughs, my only complaint is that it's a Loooooong high, we were stones for hours and it felt like forever, towards the end I definitely felt done lol But yeah! Good time for sure, with the right people and in a safe space always fun
@rickyhunt4075 here's the thing about getting high, brother, this applies to just about anything; if you tell yourself "I'm having a bad trip" you're going to have a bad trip- you have to keep a positive perspective or you can spiral, but that's why it's better to get high with friends haha And it's not quite like weed, but it's definitely a body high, and visually everything is gently moving and weird, and time almost stands still.
Found you via your collaboration on _Baker St_. Damn, you all did well with that. I mean, really, really well. This cover is good, too (where do you find the backing tracks with lead vocals omitted?). FWIW: I felt there was too much reverb here that muddied the punch of what should have been the featured thing on the sound stage (ie you). Also a little bright. C.f. the positioning of each element in Mark Knopfler mixes. Of course, you won't have that flexibility, but that's my reference dynamic for the feature to the background. A lot will depend on listening gear but, for mine at my work PC (Sennheiser GSP500 headphones + GSX1000 amp), I felt the mix didn't adequately separate the backing from you. It sounded as if excessive dynamic compression applied, but possibly YT is messing with that.
Hi , well first of all your super professional , love to listen to you! Second, I am also playing sax and wondering the name of this sax , could you pls let me know? Is the same one from the song "unchain my heart" ? Thanks!! Your awesome!
Yeah, it’s the same saxophone as in the unchain my heart video! Just with a different mouthpiece. It’s a Selmer Reference 54 alto. More information at www.noah-benedikt.de/en/saxophone
@@NoahBenedikt Wow, thanks so much for the quick response! And hi, by the way, what do you think about Yamaha YAS-280S Alto Sax? I will definitely continue to follow your progress, I wish you a lot of success on your way, I am sure you will succeed and on this occasion I will say that you are welcome to Israel at any time!
Saxophones are very individual… I really don’t like Yamaha saxophones… just tested some of them in the past but this are just my thinkings… some other saxophone players really enjoy playing on Yamaha saxophones… so that means nothing. If you enjoy playing a Yamaha sax, it is perfect for you… I would recommend just to test some saxophones made by different brands ;) if you want to buy a new one.
@@NoahBenedikt In the distant past I played the Clarinet for a long time and always wanted to learn to play the saxophone, I currently have a very old saxophone, A Salmer about 45 years old that I borrowed from friend. Now I am considering buying a new one, I really liked the sound of your saxophone but I still need a saxophone for beginners because I have not played for years , So I asked about this Yamaha, is your alto saxophone intended for beginners as well or is it already at the professional level?
in germany we say: das war ein gelungener Auftritt, weiter machen!
I love how u added in like how MJ still whispers to this day🕺
Gut gemacht! Mehr schnelle und lustige songs auf dem saxophon!

Do u have a tutorial or a sheet to read? Your solo is lit asf
Thanks for your comment! I am sorry, but I don't have and I don't use sheets or tutorials for my saxophone covers...
Alto or tenor?
It's an alto!😁
Do u have sheet music for this cover?
I'm sorry, I don't play with any sheets!
@@NoahBenedikt all good
i need the sheet music for this
Your fuckin insane I love it
is there sheet music for this?
Hi ;) I don't know...
gimme the notes pls
jeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeezzzz you're so good been working my ass on this song. Please your IG handle
Hey thank you so much! It’s @noahbenedikt
Mouthpiece?
www.noah-benedikt.de/en/saxophone
it was better without the vocals of the song, bcoz of the vocals it takes away from the melody your saxophone produces
