@@kucheryahinjuniour6586 late response, but dongrang actually doesnt let you dmg him pass his 75% (?) and 50% hp threshold before you complete his checks
@@hoahiennguyenthi521 a very late response indeed. and I should point out that my 1 year old comment was a joke that considered po po's old videos about LoR where he achieved what seemed to be impossible, thus giving this joke sense
I didn't get the gimmick of this fight. Shitload of HP without any special interactions except RNG checks at several HP thresholds (which I've passed successful). It took 15+ turns to beat him and it wasn't fun at all. Meanwhile, pre-final boss with enormous 3000 hp was beaten in 10 turns or even less, because of his clear and understandable gimmick. Important to say, that I've used only base ID and E.G.O. And until the final boss, the expedition was fine: interesting, challenging, balanced.
For me it was clear and not so different from the first boss. The main gimmicks are : -If you get five seed or more from the trees and the main boss or the sinners will be stagger for 3 turns if you don't liberated them (yes i said 3 turns. because 2 turns they are caged and the third they are in the party but still staggered). -You can liberated them by focusing the tree-prison where the sinners is.(He will still be staggered the next turn, but in your party this time) -Each prisoners and trees give him more protections and each prisoners heal the boss. Less interesting to have in mind gimmicks: -There is a skill that give a sinners the status "Overheal". If i understand it well, if the boss heal a certain amount of life on this sinners when the sinners is a prisoners, the sinners will get gluttony damages (green damages). -He has a AOE skill that either generate a tree or heal all of the trees. (It's "On use" so it will happen anyway) -And other effect are paralysis and bind. The strategy to beat it is to have sinners that resist slash and/or pierce. To focus the trees first (or kill it with AOE skills). And just win the clashes against the main boss. I think you are right it's a pretty boring boss, compared to Dongbaek, but they share some similarity (Like summoning plants and imprisoning sinners with five seeds/blooms).
@@mongeneral05 I understand what you are trying to say, but the problem is that trees and seeds mechanic in a final bossfight are not gimmicks I was talking about. They are more like treats that you need to avoid and/or deal with, they don't provide any damage boost to beat the boss in reasonable amounts of turns. They are just additional slots and HP for the boss, and nothing more. Healing from killing them doesn't help you to win clashes, doesn't stagger the boss, doesn't do anything impactful except from reducing the number of enemy's actions. In a pre-final bossfight they indeed acted like a gimmick and win condition, because the boss had interactions with them, which provided you with advantages in the right conditions. You damage trees to 1 HP, the boss kills them and takes damage from it. And his 3000 HP are melting right away.
