Thank you. I was in a bad mood trying to kill a neighbors tree, looking for solutions when I accidentally remembered that I really like old Metallica. I am just going to do the hack and squirt thing and let them clean it up.
I just got a large Bangor tree cut down and stump removal for $1500 and that was the cheapest estimate and the highest that I got was $5000. It could get very expensive.
There's no tree spade big enough for that tree. It would be impractical to transplant that tree, and you wouldn't be doing the tree any favors. You would reduce the root mass by so much the tree wouldn't be able to recover, and if it did, the roots would not recover much for 20+ years. And in that time the tree would lose limbs and become a shadow of its former self, only to have to be felled anyway. There's no good balance for trees in the urban environment, it's a liability issue.

you have to consider this fact when you start planting trees . you can have an ice storm covering everything and the first thing to melt is the ice on the sides of trees therefore that proves my theory this is of coarse if there is wind and there is almost always is . so when you think of the huge amount of trees there is, then you can then realize the scope of heat generated . plus not to mention the rising heat (that would have risen off to space) blocked from the leafs, also to to give you something else to consider is the fact that when you plant a tree it destroys the grass and vegetation that provides oxygen for us to use, grass makes more oxygen than a tree does and then add in the longer growing season of grass while the tree goes dormant sooner than grass on a good share of our planet . i still like trees but to plant these in urban areas is foolish the people that plant them and enjoy them never are the same people cleaning up after them usually the cleanup requires the use of gasoline engines manipulated by employees thus destroys any gains in a better Quality of life .
get a cold day with snow stuck on the tree and no sun, when the wind blows it heats up the tree and makes the snow melt thats proof buster, it does that every day the wind blows morning noon and night!!!!
