They look dope and probably slide well being made of UHMW. But I mean, dont we all get this angle after a couple of sessions on ledges anyways? Not the 2 different ones, but still. Groove does look nice.
This video really helped me to see the plates from all angles (wink). They look incredible, and I can't wait to see your full review. I'm especially interested to see how boot-down you can get with ledge royale, and if it actually improves balance .
Price tag is totally irrational. There's really nothing anyone can say that could convince me to spend more on soul plates than the cost of the skate they're going on.
Agreed. They say they had to have a machine built just for this and it’s a new type of UHMW that only they have but still… $350-$400 is insane for soul plates. I’d rather buy 2 new pairs of skates lol
@@jadrollervlogif they're barely turning a profit then it makes even less sense. Must be a project of passion because business model wise... it's as non-sensical as it gets. Imagine pitching that to investors... I'd like to charge $400 for a product that normally costs $40-65 to a subsect of an industry that's been dormant for over 2 decades & trying to rise up from it's ashes. Reminds me of those folks that slap $15,000 rims on a hooptie.
We're looking forward to seeing you on these and what you cook up next!
Did you guys see the price. 😢 good luck on that
I've been dreaming of sole plates like these for DECADES. So stoked on these.
haha me too, wondered why it took so long
Looking forward to your tests!

They look insane!
very cool to see these products as they first come out. big price tag, but that's what you pay for innovation!
That last sentence is the unthinking, consumer rhetoric that allows companies to get away with overcharging for new technology [cough] Apple [cough].
Hope you enjoy them man! I've been skating their SL sliders for about a month now and really dig them!

Try it try it try it, waiting for your next video.
Hope they sell different colors this soulplates
I learned how to grind in 1995 Rollerblade TRS skates. Love seeing how far skate technology has come
I already thought soul plates were getting too expensive but wow 350 for the SL plates is absurd.
Need these
Nice
It would be sick if they were produced like conventional soulplates to get the price down and make them accessible for everybody. Maybe in the future.

10000% agreed. $400 for a pair of soul plates is INSANE
I understand it's a heavy tag. But I bet they are barely making any profit when you factor everything in.

@@michadirucci3975 I love me a good passion project.
Certains vont pensé qu en mettant ce prix ils vont être meilleurs 😂😂😂
$400 ?
I would rather just get 2 pair of skates than spend that much on a pair of soul plates
Don`t delete my opinion
You deleted it twice.
I think price is insane, so I wrote ' kidding me? 400$? '
