Thanks for the video mate. I need to replace the cue/play buttons and also have a look at one of the jogs as its not always responding accurately. Did not want to go in blind and your video was a great help. Have not finished the job yet but am confident it will be a success at least for the cue/play buttons.
Thannks a tonnz brother...I was struggling from last 08 months with the same issue..but from the help of your video.. i fiex my problem....one again thanxxxxx bro
Hi, I got a used DDJ-800. the Jogs are ok but the right Volume Fader seems brokeb since it has a less resistance than the left one (Moves like the Crossfader does) - Any Fix there without replacibg the fader? Or should I just order a new Fader? (Partnumber: DCV1020)
My ddj 800 jog wheel snapped in a pro x flight case today Sunday, July 21 2024. I can’t spin or scratch on it. The deck 2 jog wheel is ok though. Were you able to get yours fixed and if so, how did you do it? Your response is appreciated. Thank you.
Thank You for this! I had 5 (out of 12) roller bearings that became out of place inside both jog wheels. The tips of 3 of them snapped off too since they're made of plastic. I replaced ones with metal tips so that should make it futureproof. I've put it all back together and now rekordbox doesn't move the tracks left or right when I turn the jog wheels - What am I missing? Maybe something to do with the sensors? They were both working fine before. The capacitive part on top appears to register though (you can tell when the jog indicator lights up).
@@baddielimo7876 I performed a miracle by attaching the tip, which chipped off from the roller, with crazy glue. I haven't been able to find metal rollers so I ordered the plastic ones from amazon.
There is a web site for DDJ parts. It was given to me by the tech staff of Pioneer being that it was out of warranty. I ordered it was about 50 plus shipping. Its not hard to take apart its a pain but take your time. Also to remove the plater turn it upside down and you will see holes. line up the screws and then take them to lose and the plater will come off. Then transfer all the parts to the new case and once you fix it, sell it. The new unit Rev 7 seems to be metal. Why they made that plater plastic I will never understand it. Definitely not meant for travel.
