- Phil Thompson found success in the Praise community with the group Ashmont Hill but what happened when God called him to go solo? Thompson sits down with Cheryl Jackson to talk about the exact moment when the Holy Spirit called him into action and more on Praise 104.1.
He was at my church last week and blessed us with this song. He is a blessing to the body of Christ. And so humble.

That song broke so many chains for me as I too am going through separation and divorce after 14 years of marriage. It’s So refreshing to hear gospel artist being open, transparent and vulnerable about their own personal life struggles. It makes him so much more relatable! We’re not always living on cloud nine as believers, there will be valley seasons.
I listened to his song "my worship" and it has blessed me so much.
I was one of his back ups when he came to the vi he is such an amazing soul

Proof that God forges his true servants in the furnace of afflictions. He sometimes brings us through deep waters not to drown us but to cleanse and baptize us.
Out of the darkness of his personal circumstances, God has brought forth profound light through Phil’s praise songs. By this he fulfills God’s ultimate goal for man: which is for us to acknowledge Him by our service and praises.
Thanks to you brother. May the Holy Spirit of our Father, the Almighty creator of the heavens and the Earth continue to manifest God’s glory through you.

Now that’s oil. I haven’t been enjoying the press. Till I heard the Bible study message tonight. I’m pressing in Saints.
I have admired the entire family since Ashmont Hill. I can binge their songs for days. I pray Phil's entire family has peace. he has bought a sacrificial praise that can't be denied. I even sent it to my brother in law who would never listen, and I am completely claiming a breakthrough.
That's GOOD! Each person's worship is as unique as their fingerprints. Praise God!
