This is by far, one of the best plane spotting videos I have ever seen. The lush green landscape creates an astonishing background, that accentuates the spectacular liveries and awesome jetliners. Your equipment and video skills are superb, bringing everything in to view, as if watching live in person. Love the SW - Arizona flag livery and the Mad Dogs. Bravo!
Great spotting. Arizona one lookin good. I was out at GRR in June and made sure I caught the AA MD83. At least GRR still has DL for a little while longer.
Looking from outside, the MD-80 has longer body and uses smaller and noisier engine (Pratt & Whitney JT8D-200). The 717 aka MD-95 has shorter body, but uses larger and quieter engine (Rolls-Royce BR700).
@@dawttha640 There isn't really a best time to go. The entire time the park is open, there is usually some activity. Check flightradar24 or flightaware and see when you actually want to go based on what you want to see.

md 80 is a longer plane
717 is an MD-95. Its a little more modern
