Eras Tour Love Story makes me tear up a little when I see it because although that song is from her second album, it was the one that really blew up for her, so to see her singing it 15 years later on such a huge stage in front of 80k fans (some OGs and some new, some who are the OG fans’ kids that grew up listening to this song), when she finishes the bridge and that key change kicks in with the background singers I’m just like 😭😭😭
My favorite part of the Eras version is all the clips we saw of guys who proposed during the "marry me Juliet you never have to be alone, I love you and that's all I really know." So flippin cute.
It is the same guitarist. She's retains a lot of her people and some including him have been been with her from the beginning. I think that demonstrates more than anything else could that she is as warm and grounded as people claim she is. She wouldn't have such a low turnaround if she was not a caring and generous boss. The social media posts from her cast/crew at the end of Eras Tour are touching. She gave out almost 200 million dollars in bonuses to her entire crew throughout the tour. That blew my mind.
What is also hilarious is that Paul Sidoti (the guitar player you noticed) used to sing the low harmonies for her when she was starting out (producer Nathan Chapman did that on the albums). Another difference to the sound was that she doesn't use the banjo, and her violinist (Caitlin Evanson) is also gone. The bass player (Adam Heller) is original; and the acoustic guitarist during Eras (Mark Meadows) plays banjo, mandolin, keyboards and electric guitar, and does vocals sometimes, as needed .
I will warn you now that her stage and everything about it for the Eras Tour will blow your mind. It is transmorphic and amazing! I don't even know if transmorphic is a word, but it is the best description of it.
I know I'm very late to this video but yes, same guitarist. In fact she arranged the eras tour to give him time to have his baby. He and his wife. They took a break when his baby was due!
the reason love story didn’t get big product like to old performance because it already had its moment. This is more like a trip down memory lane performance. She put big production on her most recent songs
I think for Eras Taylor went a lot more elaborate for the “eras” she had never performed live before. She had 4 albums that had never been performed on tour! So I think she kept it more simple for a couple of the older eras. The newer albums had much more elaborate sets. 😊

the 1989 World Tour version, remastered referred to the 4K video. she changed the arrangements for a lot of her older songs, as she wasn't doing the "country" sound anymore. That stage is crazy for Shake It Off! 👏🏻👏🏻
If the Eras clip was from the concert movie then it was filmed at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles. There were over 100,000 fans who attended each night. 😳 Six sold out nights! She could have sold out twice that number.
There was "only" 76,000 ish people each night at SoFi. Her biggest concerts were Melbourne with 96,000 each night. (not counting the thousands that were outside each stadium.)
Her band and backup singers have been with her almost since the beginning. 2 of guitarist have been with her the whole time.
