Well done, got them done! Yours looked to have a little more slack in them than the grey ones I did, trying to do that plastic strip up was a right bastard
I actually found the seat bases harder to trim than the squab; took a monumental effort from two of us to get the fabric under the rubber retainer! Might be the extra thickness of the heater pad I think. Worth the effort though.
Hi Sam, Great videos, i've only just discovered you. Inspiring stuff, keep it up! One question, Can you reccomend any specialist insurance companies? I have just bought a defender 90, which has been converted to discovery running gear ( brakes, Chassis, 300TDi ect) struggling to get reasonable quotes. Many thanks, Ben
Would have been hilarious if you had bought an Exmoor kit, and gone on and on about how you couldn’t wait to get these ugly rotten seats redone with a superior brand.
Did the same thing on mine- I went with the exmoor kit, but not heated. Installation really leaves your hands aching. 🍻

Could well be! Knowing Britpart, tolerances will be all over the place so some will be tighter than others!
Any tips on how to wire it in? Did you run the wires back to the fuse box?
That’s no spatula, that’s an arse skelper!!! I fell for the damn click bait as well, worth it though lads.
Don't you mock em lads there's nothing wrong with Britpart. Lol 🤣

Did you sell the merc seats previously fitted?
hutchibald Yes, I think I sold them a couple of years ago - workshop space is at a premium!
Oh ok. I know that problem!
