This trope in Dramas usually annoys me because the FL always falls for it. So, I love that Orchid was too smart for that and was all, "I may not know why, but I know you're lying " because despite his words she still trusted him and their love.
As a person who don't used to believe in love after watching the drama I felt for the first that this is true love ❤️ and I literally cried for weeks after seeing their love for each other, I still miss the drama sm
I have so much to ask and say about this story I seriously recommend that the writer and director of this story get off their seats and get pen and paper and take notes. Questions I have that I personally felt left the viewer waiting, hanging, or in need of more. But before that, I must say my hats off to the actors, you guys were amazing, especially the main characters. Dylan, Wow ... Amazing the fact that this actor with a bad boy and at the same time angel-like face could go from a shy fairy to a badass demon was awesome. The actress Yu Shuxin, her expressions were good seriously her emotional roller-coaster in this series was to die for her tears the character's small moments of smiles were pleasant to see. Yes, each character left his or her mark, Aside from the main characters one that I felt strongly about was how bipolar-like and twisted the character played by the actor Xu Haiqiao. Maybe it was not the actor but the twisted and ungraceful character this actor had to play that kind of hurt the most because it must have been hard to bring or give life to a dark side and a light side in one story especially when the dark is so selfish and twisted. So YES DEFINITELY MY HATS OFF TO HIM. You were flawless. Ok so now that I have complimented these actors and hoping not to offend the rest, they were as good as these three. Let me hit the story. I felt the story was incomplete. Yes, the main characters were reunited at the end but, we all know that there was more to this reunion and love, both characters had gone through hell and back. It would have been nice to see them in a blissful moment not just in the demon king's dream when his love fairy die. If he in the end changed her destiny he changed his as well. We all saw Orchid marry the god of war but never in heaven realism, they didn't get that chance since the wedding was interrupted. Their destiny had changed so why not marry in the end. It would have been awesome seeing them have their family since Orchid grew up alone and was bullied by everyone. It was time for her to know what it felt like to have a family and their love. As for the demon king... Seriously who of the views didn't want to see what kind of father the demon king would have made. Because let's face it even though he found out why his father did what he did, I personally think that the scars could have affected his character as a father. In the story, peace was made between the tribes, but until when ?? the return of the demon king would have affected the peace because, in the end, we all knew what had really happened. Someone I wanted to see fall off his high horse was the god of war's brother. But we never got to see that we only got to see him getting his hypocritical way. Yes, I said it and I'm sure everyone thinks the same when orchid was just a lonely plant he gave a flying fudge about if she was to live or die, however when he found out she was the goddess it was all perfect for him. And last but not least the demon king's brother, I'm not sure if the rest of the viewers think the same but this character needed to learn what love is, he was just starting a new view of what his brother had gone through, but his critics on the demon and orchid's love was painfully disgusting I felt that maybe if in the end, he got to know and understand what it is to fall in love he would have understood his brother's feelings for orchid better. So these are some of the loose ends that left us in mid-air, Here is to hoping that there could be a part two to this story
Yes! They needed at least one more episode! And the emperor...oh my gosh, i wanted to see him get k!ll3d so bad and have Cheng Hang take over, but no. He just got to keep being a jerk, so I know exactly what you mean. As for DFQC's brother, I read somewhere that he was supposed to have a romance with Danyin, but it got cut out (take it with a grain of salt if that'strue or not, though). I think he does need something because even after he was supposed to be reformed, I didn't buy it and was still suspicious of him. But had he gotten some more character exploration, I might have. Also Dragon and Jeili needed something more, as well. I wish there would be a season 2!
