- My son and I had 3 hours to fish we gave the trestle a try. Tony was having trouble with his engine but her did get in safe. I was thinking the tide would come back in around 10:30 but the SW wind kept it from coming in until hours later. We left at 1:30 my friend caught his limit a few hours later. Just how it goes but it was all good. We're after numbers tomorrow stay tuned.
Nothing wrong with that for a quick trip. Beautiful flounder too!

Yep heard my yat accent on ya You Tube,very nice fish-tossing display!!Headed to Mobile today to visit with younger son and guess you and I will have more fun trying to figure out an ornery ole outboard!!Might be combination of rectifier and stator and do have access to flywheel puller,in fact seem to remember replacing a stator on ole 25 rope start Evinrude!!Nice fish and guess ole Harold B and I were somewhat lucky to catch what we did and we missed two doormats right at the boat!Thanks for helping this ole guy out!
Looking at ya video , at least you had some water lol , went yesterday morning for some red tagging , no what left , didn’t stay long tide was still falling just barely got boat on trailer , good lil video ya made thanks again for sharing AJ

For a short trip u and ur son did ok, well at least the ones yall did catch were good size, it looked nice out there and u werent fighting rough water. I take it that was Anthony with the motor issues? Probably hes picking up trash from his fuel tank ! Ur the Man of knowledge when it comes to those outboards buddy , no doubt about that! My dad and I finally got out there yesterday. It was falling slowly and we tried waiting for it to changed but seemed like it wasn’t so we headed to fish the marsh around 1pm. We must have just missed you bc we fished around the same side you were at. Ended the day with 13 trout & 11 bass.
Nice Nick👍 I think if I would’ve got there earlier I could’ve caught a few more fish. But I was thinking about the incoming bite at 11:00. But the bite didn’t happen until 3:00 only know because Brad was out there and caught his limit. Sometimes it works out just fishing the predicted tide but not so yesterday because of the west wind held it from coming back in.

hay man where you guys launching from and is there a public launch i can use to get to the trestles to fish we usually we fish out of davant La. but too much sweet water down there now
Only public launch is fort pike and the one off of Front Street in the park behind Times bar and grill area
