YES! More Trance! This remix is amazing! I definitely want to vote this for the best of 2020! I actually am liking this more than the original! Even though the original is great as well!
This is not a radio mix, the 8 min version is the extended mix and not the remix itself. Let me remind you that the original song also have an extended mix of 5 minutes and a half and the song itself is around 3 and a half minutes. And none are labeled "Radio Edit".
Do keep in mind that this isn't the first song titled "Hypnotized" Markus has remixed. So don't get confused when you hear the Paul Oakenfold ft. Tiff Lacey version lmao
Unfortunately, this is the radio edit. The Marcus Schulz Extended Remix is 8:57 and it looks like yet another Beatport exclusive. 😢 I wish Monstercat would release the full length of tracks which are extended mixes as radio edits never sound as good.
I've never liked radio edits and they don't make sense on streaming services given there's no schedule to follow like on radio stations. Progressive house and trance releases are sonic journeys all about progression so they should always be left alone. I've noticed a number of Monstercat releases this year being extended mixes yet being cut down which isn't something I expected from the label at all. 😭
