Carp Fishing 2024 - Lake Pelagicevo

My carp fishing vlog covering my trip to Lake Pelagićevo in Bosnia this Spring. This vlog covers both the bait and rigs I chose to use on this venue, with fish to 55lbs (24.99kg).
With 7 fish caught over 44lbs (20kgs), and 4 over the 50lb mark.
The lake record is a common weighing currently at 37.8kgs (83lbs) and the Mirror record is 34.2kgs (75lbs) .

one could argue that 54lb mirror was more leather than mirror - certainly debatable

If it has a single scale, it's a mirror to me. Only complete nudes are true leathers, not even any scales on its back, this fish has scales all the way down its back, by its tail and gill plate. Biggest true leather I've had in the UK is 38lbs, not sure abroad?

We drove from the UK, but this time stopped off in Frankfurt. Left Frankfurt around 7am, arrived at the lake about 9pm same day, I hope that helps. Took around 18hrs on the return to Calais
