Epic rank is all man for themselves. If you wanna win, you gotta know how to 1v9 using your role/hero to be able to rank up. Legend is similar but w/ some level of help from your teammates and macro knowledge. And Mythic 5-1 is about being able to cooperate well w/ your teammates from the drafting phase to the late game as well as adapting to the enemy team.
Agree, comment is very on point. Even the heroes I use change throughout a season. I don't use Yve until later in season and mythic rank, even though I have a 60% wr with her, she just no use getting out of epic and early legend games.
Yeah...1vs9 because even your team is against you,trash talk,stealing your buff/jungle,nobody picking tank/support,even 2jungler...and the list go on
Usually for Epic and lower Legend ranks, heroes who are great at pushing towers can help you rank quickly. Since, most of the epic rank players have 0 map awareness, you can easily backdoor using Sun, Masha, Zilong etc in a lot of games.
Nah, even mythic is shit right now, i dont understand why players with 10k matches still do not know how to play this game and its metas. Drafting is stupid, their picks are dumb, and overall bad matchmaking. Im a gold laner and the part that's frustrating is that the enemy roamer is always babysitting their gold laner, and they frequently gank my lane. No issues with that, I'm glad to be visited by 4 heroes at onve and dying to them. But the issue? There is absolutely no objectives taken by my team. No towers, no turtles, no invades, no everything while the enemy is at my lane tower diving me. Complete stupidity
Their map awareness is shit also, its fucking mythic and they are all blind. Shitty matchmaking by moonton. My 80 wr this season went to 59 percent. This game is not skill based anymore, its pure luck getting the right teammates.

@@huntingassassin4780 well I went with situation boots or it can be CDR boots then his core item enchanted Talisman then I changed the concentrated energy into ice queen wand so can have slow cc then the rest is defense item. Roam I chose dire hit.

This is really timely for me. School just ended so I decided to pickup ML again, unfortunately I'm back down to the Master rank and for a while I've been trying to play just like I always did: Pick the support, give as much advantage to the team and annoy the enemy as much as possible. Didn't work out because my teammates seem to not even understand the concept of a Core/Jungler. Welp, I suppose its time for me to put my "Support" cape on the rack and dirty my hands by playing *ueegh* Junglers.

Pick valentina/esme/karina/ other heroes that have good both damage and survivability, 90% times you can solo handedly win the game under legend rank

what are you doing picking support in master rank lol. it's only viable after you get to mythic. before that, you have to carry basically every game if you wanna rank up fast

I remember i manage to get to mythic But course i had a my cousin with me he good at jungler sadly he become toxic at the years goes by and always likes to trashtalk instead of focusing and has a big ego and his assassin skills Isn't that good like before he even trashtalk me even it was his mistake and whatever i tried to pint out his mistake he always denise it and that of course affected me aswell as a mage user and mm user
It's a good thing I was very experienced at playing different roles so I can carry in any role in epic
I think zilong will be a good hero for push in epic cuz he can easily take down squishy heroes while also dealing a good amount of damage to turrets.

Depends Zilong is pretty meh at side lanes early game especially in the Tank Meta you can use the constant reset 2nd skill trick but that's too unreliable
Personally, I found Beatrix, Clint, Aldous to be the best at soloq rank pushing. I haven't played much since the new season started, but I reached Legend II with like 90% winrate using these heroes. And yes, soloq

13:43 be very cautious in clashing on the jungle areas with enemy akai.. Jungle is Akai's forte since before his meta arc.
Having teammates who don't understand this can be so frustrating. Just watching them run into jungle team fights to die whenever we go against heroes who rule the jungle 😭

First season of me actually playing this game, I was stuck in Epic, blaming my team and all, but after watch Beto's videos and actually understanding the game, on my 2nd season, I managed to get into Mythic, now I get into Mythic with ease.

@@MatVee besides the tips given in the video, there's a few short ones i follow in order to rank up.
1: play like your teammates are bots and don't expect them to do thr carrying or help you.
2: Watch the map and save your teammates when their about to get ganked, but make sure you're not outnumbered and can get out safely.
3: this tip is already in the video, but LOOK AT MAP, and ping dangers for you teammates if you cant reach them in time. Will they ignore the pings? Probably, but if one listens, thats one less death.
3: Learn what the item does, you dont need to read all of them but just understand the basic of their function, so you can build accordingly to whats happening in game.
Once you get to Mythic one time, you'll be surprised how easy it actually it, once season resets, this is a good time to play even tho some games may be hard, because this is when all the Mythic players are, EPIC 2.
@@zCopyCatz i know all these tips, just learning items rn. Know some like antiheal, how to counter natalia n stuff. Great tips though. And one mistake im doing. Most of the times im expecting to someone come and help me in a fight, coz i know like if we go together we will win. I just forget that they are not that skilled. Thanks for the tips again!

Your video is inspiring Beto. Here’s a suggestion, when you’re using mage as a jungler (or Indonesians called it “Hyper” for whatever reason) you should use Jungle emblem, specifically “Damage to Monsters” Lv3 talent. It will make your jungling a bit faster
Mage Emblem is way more versatile and Cyclops doesn't really need the 21% Bonus Damage to Creeps as he isn't the best for dominating early game.

I never ever got to this rank because I was not knowledgeable of certain things in the game then but now I can reach Legend finally. NOW IM CLOSE TO HEAVEN!!! The problem in epic rank is player give up easily. Especially when you play tank or mage role. Most of them will trash talk each other or blame each other

Yesterday right after entering Legend, I was using Cecelion and both matches resulted in MVP + Loss and my stats in these 2 games were best out of 10 🗿👍

Epical glory is truly hell even tho i could get myself out of that rank it would take time and i know forsure my winrate will drop so much and it hurts working it hard to get the wr back up again in mythic or legend rank since the opponent on the rank knows what their doing
It's so hard to rank up now. Most of my teammates in solo draft cares about killing more than pushing turrets.

after regularly making it to mythic, i now notice how easier games in epic and legend seems to be compared to games in mythic. it's like it's way easier to catch your opponents off guard in any elo that's not mythic...
also, seriously. i just had the easiest match with Vale. it's fucking easy to catch the enemy beatrix somehow in lower elo compared in mythic. I guess it's the experience thing or just skill issue as Betos said.

Betosky I don't know if you already know this but you should try using ice queen wand instead of concecrated energy. I was also a bit skeptical with this at first but it turned out great. I do this when I use cyclops as support but it is still great as a jungler. It is useful against tanky heroes because the slow is really helpful to keep your distance against the enemies I usually build only 3 damage items including the ice queen wand and build 2 defense item if the enemies are able to destroy me right away in team fights since I am a support I need to stay alive to help my allies with the slow of iqw but if we are leading by a lot I build 4 damage items and only 1 defense item and no more concecrated energy. My battle spell when I am not the jungler is usually sprint because sprint will help me catch enemies together with the slow of ice queen wand and it can also help me chase the enemies. What do you think about this build Betosky? I have only been doing it for a few games but the majority of those games are wins. And late games were not really hard because even though the enemies are tanky the slow will help me keep my distance and it will also help my allies to kill them
What I like about this build is that even if there are strong mm in the late game just one hit of cyclops skill and the mm will be slowed so my allies can easily kill the mm now even cyclops can kill the enemy now because the slow can help cyclops get out of the mm's range easily

The problem is no act from muntun about acc boosting service and the rank system is easy to manipulate. I think muntun should separate the rank achievement like Dota 2 in old days. So we will have solo mmr and party mmr
sometimes teammates don't even defend properly or they neglect their lanes and engage in fights they know they aren't ready for. i can't really kill and clear all lanes by myself it gets tough and i can only do so much tbh it's tiring
I usually play with my friends and most of the time they didn't know what hero they wanted to choose and ended up choosing an unsuitable hero at the last second....and they don't want to experiment with the hero combination ....

Cyclops is good if you have very good supporting team or else we end up playing mage mid which is not ideal for solo player.

For this season solo rank,I am using Argus..I like to abuse enemy using his 1st and 2nd skills on side lane..
Bruh I've been getting streaks is lost team MVP medals and gold medals and im currently epic 2. I play mostly get tank or mage. Miya is the epic's best hero and I don't know why. I've seen Eudora, Saber, zilong getting banned by people with 7000+ matches (im 500< matches btw). The only thing that carried is fredrinn. I was so glad i bought him. Defense scaling heroes are a go to if soloQ. Now trying to buy edith

Nice video and gameplay. However I dont think you captured the essence of why people are stuck in Epic or atleast that is how I see it. Your game was very well executed. But, from the beginning of the game I could already tell that it was not a "true" Epic game. The problem is not so much that people are bad, the problem is that they are stupid and have way to big egos. You see, you actually had a reasonable comp there. A real epic game has feeding Layla, Miya who decides after dying twice in 3 minutes that she now is the jungler and steals your creeps. A Zilong or Belmond, that is glued to his line for all game and of course the vale/eudora that tries to 1v5 the enemy team at very chance and instantly runs away the second he thinks there is an ally near that would support her... oh and those nice teamfights you had and situations were your team came to help you. Yeah, that does not happen in "true" epic. They will run away from the enemy until you are dead and then charge in 1 by 1 so they can be picked off easily.
The enemy team might not be better than your team, they are the same shmucks after all. But your team already picked all the useless heroes, so they cant and end up with something that atleast remotely resembles a reasonable comp. They now end up with a Lesley instead of Layla, a Karina or Saber instead of the Miya and somehow maybe even with a Tigreal and even epic knows to get the dakka out when the tank engages. FrEeKiLls.
Yes, they might be just as a bad skill wise as your team. But they have a comp that works and yet win by design. Because let's face it. None of us are good enough to solo a full set. And they are going to stay in that clumped up set all game because tank go in I go brrrrrrrrr.
