Wow! Great catching all the trains, including the CP Holiday Train in Revelstoke, Canada, deer in Fort Madison, Iowa, singers in Tucson, Arizona, and more, @Virtual Railfan, thank you.
Wish it had been called a Christmas train really. I mean what do they call the night before Christmas?......Holiday Eve?....and is Christmas day called Holiday Day? MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!🧑🎄
I think the reason we may have seen the meteors in Fort Madison & La Plata is because this time of year is the peak of the Geminids Meteor Shower. Like the highly anticipated Perseids shower in August, the Geminids is also a popular meteor shower because of the number of meteors in an hour - 120 on average.
Actually the Geminids give "more showers" than the Perseids. The problem is that in winter people don't feel as much as getting outside to see. The good part of toyear is that the moon was like 1/10th of her luminosity, right after new, and was easier to see meteors.
Sure looks like a Christmas train to me. I wonder what "holiday" has lights, packages wrapped with bows, shiny snowflakes and bright ornaments along with a Santa and a "ho-ho -ho?" Merry Christmas👍
The Freight Car Rarities were really good, thanks VRF. I liked the scene at Paradise, caught in the dark. At Decatur, it was great to see BNSF SD70MAC 9653 on the Point, right where she belongs. The children playing instruments and singing at Tucson was mint, took me back to Schooldays.

By the 1900s steam loco headlights powered by kerosene, etc were replaced with the new electric technology. There is a steam driven electric generator on top of boiler/firebox just in front of the front of the cab roof (note the steam exhaust)for headlight and other electrical devices.
