Hey Brian, Having the sea as a landmark is perfect-you’ll never lose your bearings! As for the line issue, don’t worry, mate-it happens to the best of us. I’ve been there before; we’re only human, but it’s a good reminder of how critical it is since it could lead to a spin............. Preflight checks are essential, though lines can still tangle during inflation, especially with a reverse launch. Forward launches give you a clear view of your lines, making it easier to spot problems and abort if needed.......................... And remember, always start your first leg into the wind is paramount - it’s the safest way to ensure you can make it back easily if something doesn’t go to plan. Keep Flying safe and will join you sometime for sure!
Ok I’m enjoying your videos 👍 fresh don’t follow the trends just do what you do . Doing what everyone else does will make your channel feel old . But you have my attention so far . Pilot myself 👍
checking lines/ before any flight preflight checks. take off once at a good height preflight checks again lines.when landing preflight checks. power lines etc. land.. as in life there's gonna be good times and bad times.
Nice hat 😇 Nice flying zone with the sea as a landmark, can't get lost! For the Line, shit happens! its true that you have to check your lines during preflight checks but it happens as well that when you inflate your wing from your back (sorry for my English) checking your lines while running is more difficult than if you inflate it in front of you and then turn yourself to take off. in this case you have time to check your lines before starting the take off process and be able to abort it.
I fly a trike so I always take off with a full tank . Even for a 30 min flight . Never know what will happen or if I want to go further . I always plan my flight into the wind though easy flight home as I get tired . That’s my plan .
Absolutely - Anthony's last flight is the most documented Paramotor accident that exists and even if, what appears to be the most inconspicuous tangle, can lead to an accident. Best land when you can, sort it out and live to fly again !!!!!
Yeah, it's been an issue for me over the last few flights. Once I had changed the recoil spring, cord and cleaned it, it was fine after that. New starters are very expensive !

Congratulations
Always best to start an adventure into the wind and return with it at your back. Glad you had enough fuel to enjoy that beautiful scenery!

Thanks to Anthony Vella for his video pointing out the importance of checking lines.

A great flight in the end, but it could have all gone wrong. Watch those winds and watch those lines !!!! - Safe Flying 🙂
Did you trim out on the way back into the wind? You should cut through the wind more efficiently when trimmed out.
@@NorthernFPV yeah, I was only doing about 5mph, so trimmed out and got double that, which laid my fears to rest.
Nice stuff Brian. How many flights are you upto now?
@@NickJeins hey there. Got 40 under my belt this far my man!!
