@@seanmarley3598 he was saving Urzikstan from the west aka the nations where I reside, the west is a breeding ground for hardcore terrorists and The west has committed pretty bad shiz such as the bombing of a highway, the Haditha massacre as well along with only bombing civilian targets when Isis was around
I thought I was the only one who thought that. His skin is pretty tan, and his hair is black, so maybe he’s from the Caucasus region of Russia near Georgia, Azerbaijan, and Turkey. Ethnically, those people are close to Middle Easterners.
@@xxpsychicmindxx I was thinking he could be Tatar. I have a friend from Russia who looks ethnically quite similar to Barkov. Although his actor/model seems to be Belarusian.
Well, my great grandfather originated from Northern Iran. He looked like Leo Tolstoy, who was from southern Russia. Russia is very diverse. From what I've seen, most powerful Russian politicians and military men do look more slavic or continental European. I think they've picked a character design that makes him seem less familiar to most players. Just like all Star Wars, villains have a British accent to seem less relatable to North Americans.
Maybe Urzikstan used to be a Soviet republic before it’s collapse and the invasion of that country in 1999 was a response to the Mid East meltdown of 1997 that the middle easterners are rising against the west and would include Russia as its target. And so Russia needed the client state of kastovia to order to invasion launch towards Urzikstan as its government is more or less collapsing and the rebels would be taking over and plan to attack Russia and Russia isn’t having any of this as they already are dealing with chechnya after their first war with them in 1997 or so. That’s my theory supposedly. Heck the stories are mixed from the cyberpunk table top game, cod mw 2019 lore and real life history itself
i think that urzikstan was supposed to be a version of Chechnya. everything is similar to this and the chechen wars. A muslim country invaded by russia while people and cities were bombed to the point it was uninhabitable.
Perseus. Because he would cause the detonation of American made nukes in Western Europe and blame them all towards America. Barkov is only eliminating foreign threats to Russia and has to occupy the country that contains terrorist elements. His warmongering desensitized his humanity to the brink that he’s incapable of mobilizing within Russia.
Unsure, Perseus kills more people than Barkov, while Barkov is more brutal than Perseus with his enemies (Given the fact that you cant feel anything from the Nukes as you will be instantly vaporized)
