I love it! But I think that when scrolling, the Villa's image could be a little smaller, so that the user can focus more on the information and still be able to view the images. You help me a lot! Thanks

    Hello Rachel, 🙋
I am a first year student in a Design college📖 in India. Ever since I got into design field I had this imposter syndrome😿. I always watched your videos and I used to think "wow. I wanna do all this too!".🥳
I started designing and sharing it to the world but I didn't got any clients😷. Then I started posting my designs into competitions and eventually won a few competitions☺. And finally clients started approaching me! 😄
When I earned my first money I was shaking😲! Because all the rejection I faced was scary to me. But it made me strong, very strong.😺
And I am incredibly happy to announce that recently I won a very amazing gig (💵). All thanks to you and your videos. You are a great inspiration to all the new designers who are getting in this field. 👏
I am looking forward to create a work life balance and pay my college tuition👨‍🎓. Everything is going great and I am growing both financially and mentally!
I hope you are having an amazing day too! Keep up the good work!😊

    Incredible and very well-thought out!
From just a quick glance, the original looks pretty good and functional, but there were in fact, many areas of improvement that can be exposed if you train yourself to develop a more critical eye for the user's experience.
As a casual viewer of design work (I'm not a designer), it's really refreshing and informative to see the before and after, as well as your thought process behind design decisions to flaws in the original that I never would've thought of.

To see your thought process in identifying areas of improvement from a real, existing design, and actually improving it has far more educational value for more intermediate level designers looking for more than just "here are some cool color palettes and fonts to play with". Option 2 is definitely my preference. Having the persistent images seems like a better experience to keep users enticed.

Looks better than the original. Like others have said, Option 2 sacrifices a lot of screen real estate to images. If the client pushed for keeping the images on screen, you could scale it down on scrolling till the image width is about half the screen width and transition it into a horizontal scroll view with the other images. I do like the sticky CTA on the bottom, but with this much scrolling, there should be a "scroll-to-top" button available to the user. Standard practice is to put that towards the bottom-trailing portion of the screen, but with that taken by the CTA bar, maybe the top trailing? Either way, looks great. Nice work

Love the redesign. 1h vs 3h ; isn’t that always how it goes?! Using accordions and the horizontal scroll are some of my favorites to organize the text.
Sigh, good up writing… it IS such an important skill and I’m lacking. Even just for the placeholder text that won’t go on the final site. Thx for showing us all the preliminary research that’s essential prior to beginning the design. That’s often skipped in How To videos.

Thanks for watching! To do the showcase video, I prototyped it in Figma, then I use Rotato for the cool animations.
I reached out to the Rotato team and got a 25% off promo code. From now till 12 July 2023, go to rotato.app, apply code ‘RACHEL’ when you checkout for 25% off. Btw, it’s one-time payment, no monthly subscription ☺️

Option 3: As you scroll, reduce the height to a min height. It’s an interesting effect when the aspect ratio of the image doesn’t match the initial image.

It is great! Can you put a video on how to create that prototype video with animations?
