e-sports arena did not get poached. It was literally their business model. They'd sign amateurs with great potential, turn them into pros and then sell them off as individuals or as a team to e-sports orgs.
Gerburten is great but outside extessy there are many insane controller players for sure. Extessy uses tons of movement but his aim is eclipsed by some controller demons.

I understand the idea of wanting to keep controllers as competitive as MnK and to help those that can't aim as well but personally I feel like aim assist kinda hinders my aim more than anything. I appreciate on CoD for example, aim assist strength can be altered to fit your personal preference. Or R6 completely drops aim assist in the PVP modes, forcing you to actually get good. I mean the funniest thing is that both Vethulst and Genburten who are considered to be the best controller players play on linear. They both have their response curves at zero so they have the most control witn their aim. I dont think aim assist should be removed and technically we already have a way to change the strength of aim assist by switching to linear. It doesnt hold your hand as much.

aim assist works on "hipfire" on console like u can just be running around with no gun out and if an enemy runs across ur screen ur reticle goes zooming, is it the same on PC?

I mean you can make the same argument with Taskmasteer having 3000 hours (two years ago) in aim trainers and yet he still wouldn't be able to be as consistent. It's not really like a controller hate thing it's just objective. You can easily tell a controller spray vs an mnk spray due to reaction time. I think AA just needs to be tweaked cause the goal is balance, not nerf.
